We took pics to show to front desk.

My family stayed in this hotel for a few days around Christmas. Thanks to previous post, I went straight to Best Western to check in. Staffs are very friendly and check in was fast.
I have never stayed in Best Western, so I can't compare the room with BW. For the price I paid, I didn't expect the room would be close to one I see from one such as Hampton. And I was right, it was more like a motel's room. But compare to the motel I had stayed before, Magnuson's room was in better condition. Like some reviews mentioned, the blanket was thin. But my family already prepared, we know some hotel may be too hot or too cold during the night. So we were okay!
The building was at the back, and the breakfast area was in main building, the one we checked in. So would have to do a bit walking at the morning to have breakfast. But the breakfast was great. Nice big area for breakfast.
Location was good. Very very close to the outlet mall. And only a short drive to Frankenmuth. However, because it was so close, sometime it was challenging to get in/out because of the heavy traffic. If you find it difficult to make a left turn to the hotel, don't worry. Simply keep go straight and make a left turn on the traffic light right ahead. After that, you can make a left turn to the complex that can eventually go directly to the hotel. And that's for day time, when dark, it become very difficult to return to the hotel. The entrance had absolutely no light at all. The best alternative I can suggest is to try to go to Subway and then drive from there to the hotel. I believe this is the safest and easiest way.
Considering the location, the money I save every night we stayed, and the good breakfast. This hotel is not really that bad at all. Of course, paying 30+ more every night would have a much nicer hotel room. It's the call you will need to make when booking. I wish there is a hotel that offer super low rate with everything in excellent condition too. But I have not never seen any available.
And based on everything I considered, Magnuson is okay, not very good, have some negatives, but okay. It's worth to consider.
