We came up for a mid-week get away trip from Chicago and loved it! The house is on the northeast shore of Crystal Lake across the road, just north of downtown Beulah. It is lovely and old (built in 1894) and is beautifully maintained and kept. They have a super-sweet black lab named Finnegan who was very friendly. We came...

We arrived at the Inn around 9:00 pm, just as a storm was rolling in off the lake. Anne met us on the sidewalk to hurry us in before the rain began. We were taken to our cute room, settled our luggage, and went back downstairs to watch the storm and visit with our hosts. Not long after, the power...

My wife and I spent two nights at the Windemere Inn. It suited us perfectly. We wanted a place from which we could venture out to see cherry country and the east shore of Lake Michigan. The room had all we needed: a sink, a warm bed, an ample closet, private toilet and shower, and a door that locks. All...

A quaint, comfortable inn run by Anne and Cameron Clark. Room was comfortable, bath was adequate, and breakfast was plentiful and fresh. This 130 year old house is unique, has a great porch and cozy sitting room, and comes with a friendly black lab named Finnegan. Bring a treat. The only inconvenience was that wi-fi was not available in our...

Spent 3 nights July 2015 at Windemere while we explored the Sleeping Bear area. Very homey, clean and cozy, good sized room with private bath (#1) and excellent breakfasts (home made muffins, scones, breads). Owners are very nice, friendly people with lots of tips on what to see and do. Highly recommended and a good value, too.

Stayed here with my wife over labour day weekend 2003. The hosts were friendly and their kids well behaved (and friendly too). Our room was cozy and quaint. The best part was breakfast. Home made scones, roasted granolas served with yogurt, fresh fruit, fantastic!!!

Warm, clean country atmosphere. Close to Crystal Mountain and Lake Michigan. Down the street from public access to Crystal lake. Children are welcome. The rooms are big enough for 2 adults and one child.
