I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, so I didn't know what to expect. I must say that this experience far exceeded my expectations. A beautiful home, excellent food, knowledgeable and gracious host and cozy surroundings made for a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back!

I have been staying at this B&B for years and each time I find myself loving it more and more. From the excellent hospitality of the Innkeepers (Jamie and Gary), to the excellent food prepared for breakfast each morning (and the delicious desserts in the evening), I would not pick another place to stay when traveling to Northern Michigan. I strongly suggest the Applesauce Inn!! I stayed here for 3 nights for a little trip to explore Michigan. The Inn keeper was extremely accommodating and prepared the most delicious breakfasts and desserts (all of which were homemade). The Inn is in a central location, equal distance from the hot spots in Michigan. This B&B was worth the little traveling to...

We have been here twice. The awesome breakfasts Jamie prepares are top notch. The desserts are the best. She pairs the nightly desserts with a local wine. Her knowledge of the area is always helpful. Go up here with a travel plan, or ask Jamie for suggestions. The rooms are welcoming and comfortable. Planning our next trip back.

Jamie is a wonderful hostess. She makes us feel welcome and is very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas. The food is simply superb. She could open up a restaurant and have many, many totally satisfied repeat customers like us. We will definitely be back!
