The Pere Marquette River Lodge is an old school experience. The owner and staff pride themselves on customer service and a complete experience. The steelhead fishing is world class, the brown trout are beautiful and wild, and of course in the fall the salmon will test your gear to the limit. The best part of the PM experience is as...

Our group stayed in the River House, which had everything we needed, is right on the river, and was an easy walk to shop for early morning starts. Over two days our group went out with Vinny, Drew, Devon, and Frank Willets. All were professional, knowledgeable, and great instructors for our group, which had various levels of experience. They handled...

I had a great two days of fishing at the PMR. Drew and Casey assisted in making this trip memorable! Many thanks to Frank and the rest of the staff @ PMRL. I plan on returning to the PMR and the PMRL in the near future.

I went steelhead fishing with Vinny and we went 5 for 6 on steelheand and 1 for 1 on brown trout. Vinny is an excellent guide who worked hard to get me into the fish. He is very knowledgeable of the river and is a professional guide in every way. I will continue to book him in the future.

Vince Bodde taught me how to catch steelhead on the Pere Marquette river over 25 years ago. Since then I have fished with guides all over the world for many species of fish. And after all those experiences, here's what I know: Vince is the hardest working, most enthusiastic, most knowledgeable fishing guide I've ever fished with. If there are...

I went to Pere Marquette River Lodge with a group from Indianapolis IN. The Orvis Shop in Carmel IN sponsored a steelhead fly fishing school there for both beginners and the advanced. Spent 3 days on the river with Casey for a guide (a young man with an old soul) and he showed me both a great deal of patience...

My friend and I spent two great days on the Pere Marquette River with the guides from the PM River lodge. We stayed at one of the cabins at the Lodge. First the river, fishing and guides....all way exceeded my expectations. Devon on day 1 worked his tail off putting us onto one pod of salmon after another. We caught...

I came with my brother and father for an all day trip. We had an awersome time fishing for kings and trout. I would recommend to anyone, beginner or experienced. I would give the trip a 10 out of 10 and will be returning next year.

Came here with 5 friends for a weekend Steelhead fishing trip. We stayed in the River House which was basic but clean and had plenty of room. The main room has a large picture window that looks right out over the river. Between the six of us we had three guides for the full day of fishing but I can...

Last minute work trip to National Forest and found this nice lodge. Complete with log beds, fire place in lounge area and access to full kitchen with log table, really cool! Felt very welcome and was able to meet other guests, making some new friends. I'd come back in warmer weather to enjoy evenings outdoors fishing and their backyard area...
