I have to travel for work and this motel is just perfect with clean, neat rooms and breakfast in the am. The owner, Jill, is committed to making every stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The grounds are nicely maintained and the pool is beautiful to float in after a long day at work! I recommend this motel to...

My sister and I just returned from a second visit to this motel and once again it met our expectations. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is in a great location near restaurants, hiking, museums... The prices are very reasonable. Jill, the innkeeper, is the gem of this motel--warm, friendly and full of suggestions for sightseeing, outdoor activities, restaurants...

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Jill is a wonderful host. Always making great effort to help our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. She keeps up to date with local events, and is knowlegable about many regional things. Retro 50's, rooms comfortable and clean, well maintained, with a comfortable breakfast room and extensive continential breakfest.Located along a running brook, that...

We stayed one night in April and the motel was clean, staff efficient and friendly, and cold breakfast was good. It is an older property so don't expect lots of electrical outlets or modern bath but the wifi was fast and the flat screen TV relatively new and the price was right. Location was also perfect for our purpose.

I was travelling around various parts of the East Coast with my sister and her kids looking at colleges. The Berkshire Hills was one of my favorite places to stay. I felt at home immediately. The atmosphere is warm, the view is gorgeous, and the fresh baked organic bread in the morning was delicious! We had such a great time...

After walking out of a dank & musty motel down the street, my husband and I found the Berkshire Hills Motel to be clean & cozy. The owner was very friendly and offered suggestions for dining, activities and entertainment in the area. The room had the charm of a cottage and smelled like freshly laundered linens--thank goodness! The continental breakfast...

I stayed at Berkshire Hills with my 10 year old daughter and niece while in the area for the Bay State Games. The owner was incredibly accommodating and helpful - offered advice for shopping and dining options, was able to make us a reservation during a busy time at the popular Mexican restaurant down the road, and helped us in...

This motel is so welcoming and fun. When we walked to the front desk the lady was so nice and charming. Also if you like to ski or snowboard they have adult passes for less money. She had great suggestions for places to eat nearby and one night we had the best pizza and wings from a local spot delivered...

This is really more of an "Inn" than a motel. The room was bigger than most, clean, and there was a nice dining area with a wide variety of breakfast items (included in the price). I found what the other reviewers said about the owner to be quite true. She was very friendly, and made me feel quite welcome. She...

This place was OK for the price, but the room stank of dogs and urine. I noticed several guests with animals, so if you travel with pets and are used to the smell, you might like this place. A lot of people mention the friendliness of the owner. I didn't experience that, I'm afraid.

I encourage, appreciate and welcome my guests' comments, so I may promptly address them and make your stay as enjoyable as possible. As a traveler, myself, (and owner) I am quite puzzled by this review. If I encountered such issues in a room, I would go directly to the owner for immediate corrective action: to be moved or refunded. I...
