Nothing fancy. New pleasant owners. Very clean. New good hotel mattresses. Good price. Pretty country setting. A family really trying hard to upgrade the facilities. Our choice for yearly visits Phones in room' cell phones are problematic with mountains,

Reservation at last minute so we could see "Moon for the Misgotten" with Audra McDonald. Very basic with paper thin towels and two double beds. It was certainly nothing special and wife was NOT ecstatic, but we only needed a place to sleep and it did provide that!

New owners in the past week. Came in with no reservation and 2 collies. Given a king bed room--quite adequate--nothing special, but clean. Very well taken care of by the owner who wanted to be sure we were comfortable. We will definitely use this motel again on our yearly trip through area. Decent rates, no pet fee, could leave pet...

This motel is reasonable comfortable if your expectations are low and you're just looking for a place to crash while passing through the area. The entire motel is rundown and tired, although my room had been cleaned as well as could be expected. The carpet was stained and there was mold and stains on some of the walls. There was...

I booked a room here based on price via Priceline as I always do. Upon arrival at 4:30 pm, there was a not on the door saying "be right back, call if emergency. Besides the fact the I really had to pee, I left to go get something to eat. I returned at about 6;30 a gentleman was there to...

Great location for visiting Williamstown. Unfortunately... The rooms were not clean: obvious paper scraps on the floor, dirt in the phone and the floor corners. Mold and mildew on bathroom tiles. Remarkable amount of bugs swarming around the outside room light. They joined us in the room the moment the doors were opened. There were not enough electrical outlets for...

Should have known when we stepped into the office. Dirty. The carpet must have been used by General Lee during the Civil War; maybe even by his horse, Traveller, in his stable. The carpet in the room was the same vintage, frayed and filthy. Their was heavy dust on the lamp shades, the desk, the chest of drawers and the...

Perfectly comfortable but aging motel. Perfect for just passing through. Pets welcome was an added bonus. No need to stay at any of the more expensive places around. Breakfast was simple - we did not try it but just went next door to a dinner. There were other travelers that had breakfast and were sitting outside at the picnic benches...

Not many chain hotesl around in this area. Many independent, traditional motels to choose from though. The Villager is one of them. Small reception building which also serves as the breakfast area. The breakfast is very basic and so is the spec to eat it in. If there is more than one party at the same time, bad luck; no...
