Stay two nights for a business trip in the area. Well some areas of the hotels seem to have been improved since the last time we were there, carpet in the Corredor‘s and new paint on the walls, our room which was a two bedroom suite was lacking. Both toilets had dark rust stains which were very unappealing. Gas fireplace did not work and when we called the front desk we were told there was no one there who could assist with getting it up and running. Pillows were beyond uncomfortable. Window screens were bent. Kitchen was in need of a makeover with cabinets chipped and ready to fall off hinges. My guess is they figure you were at the office all day so who cares but when you are working in the room it definitely makes a difference. One positive was complementary breakfast was well organized and there was a very friendly, hard-working woman who was making sure everything was fresh. Property definitely needs some attention and hopefully they will put some effort into it.…
We had a very comfortable stay at the Residence Inn Westford and were particularly impressed by their responsive customer service. When we first checked in, we did not get a great room (our room had a view straight into a wall and air conditioning unit). The next morning, we requested a better room and they gave us another option with a much better view which was great. One small drawback was that they still had not started back up their breakfast buffet. They did have some food options that you could pick up each morning from the front desk. On one morning, my wife was asked if they had soy milk instead of regular milk and one of the front desk employees actually offered to go to a grocery store and deliver some later that morning to our room. We were both very impressed by that and wanted to say thanks again for that great service! The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable as well,…
1/28/2022 - Massachusetts in the middle of a blizzard I am not driving my family in the storm to a hotel. I cancelled 2 days prior (due to upcoming storm) and they won’t refund my $166.21 - the GM of the Marriott Boston Westford was rude, wouldn’t give me his name, hung up on me saying there’s nothing he can do and to call Marriott Customer service. I did call - a case opened and they said i should be refunded by Friday I’ll get an email. Friday comes , no email, so I call back - I speak with Vickey in Elite Member services who says the GM closed the case with no response and there is nothing she can do and theirs no one I can escalate this this case to. Gov Baker closed the roads - it’s the most snow Massachusetts is getting in history perhaps - I’m not bringing my family to that Marriott name hotel and place them in harms way, afraid for our lives because a Manager doesn’t know how to be a manager. Marriott you’ll lose more business than you realize! I was charged $166.21 and cancelled two days prior! I would like a refund to remedy this situation - please have someone with a brain from Marriott contact me! Thank you…
If it wasn't for the location we would have bailed. We came 3200 miles and spent Six nights to spend time with family in the area for the holiday. Two room/Two bath. Upon arrival both rooms were subpar. Bathroom toilets dirty, hair on floor. Kitchen cabinets dirty and empty. Dishes were in the dishwasher to be "sterilized". The DW was full of unwashed dirty dishes. We had to run the cycle. Housekeeping upon request with 24 hour notice. We just got towels from front desk. Even the front of fridge was filthy. Breakfast food was limited and very disappointing. We opted to eat out. I understand the current staffing and Covid issues, but come on! SOMEONE needs to walk the property and have some followup! The BBQ outside the lobby window had dirty utensils next to it the entire time we were there. Finally the snow covered them. We are Platinum members. By far the worse Marriott experience to date.…
The hotel facilities are nice enough, but the hotel is basically run by a band of blind monkeys. I mean, I understand being understaffed, but something must be done to accommodate the egregious lack of staffing. On the third day of our stay for the Christmas holiday we had asked the morning clerk, a gentleman, for a late checkout and he said 4pm, as our family member is a titanium member, would be a good time. While finishing packing at 3:30pm we heard a heavy knock on the door, and lo and behold two police officers are at the door saying we are being accused of refusal to vacate. Mind you, we had received not a single phone call from front desk clerk Kelsey. All I can guess is that due to lack of communication on the staffs' part, my boyfriend and I were escorted out of a hotel we have been loyal customers to by the police. Thanks a lot, Kelsey, for making our Christmas vacation one to be remembered due to your lack of professionalism and inability to complete the basic tasks your job requires. Sorry, I just can't be fake. Oh, and we had to take our own trash out and bring our own towels to the front.…
Sadly the location is the best quality of this Marriott. It is understaffed and dirty. The third floor, where most long term guests are residing smells like old food in the hallways. Staff turn over is constant and accountability is minimal. We have been here on a work project for multiple months. The room is neglected and not cleaned regularly. Shower door panels not touched, toilet not cleaned and linen service not weekly. It’s a shame Marriott allows this poor quality to reflect their outstanding brand. As a lifetime Elite Bonvoy Platinum member, we are disappointed with this hotel and will be re-evaluating future Marriott stays.
Room was comfortable, everyone we encountered was nice, and the location was right for us (visiting family in the area). TV options are good. And wifi worked well. The one bedroom was spacious with a full kitchen including dishwasher and a full size fridge. Check out was quick and easy and our bill accurate. We stayed a week but would have been comfortable for an even longer stay. I fully understand the staffing situation this summer, but they don’t have daily housekeeping (which is fine in a Residence Inn except that multiple people told us they did, and they didn’t provide enough shampoo/conditioner/coffee for a family for several days. If there’s not daily housekeeping, I want to know when to expect it. The room was missing a LOT of standard items when we checked in - no clothes hangers, missing wastebasket, no bedding for sofa bed, no coffee mugs, no Do Not Disturb sign, only three towels for 4 people, only 1 shampoo/conditioner/soap for 4 people. We gave a list to the desk the first morning we were there and he wrote it down but they still didn’t bring the missing items so we had to track someone down when we returned late in the evening. It’s past time to bring back breakfast. If it must be grab and go, then they should consider expanding the hours and make coffee available all day. We couldn’t even find people at the desk the two times we tried to get breakfast, which I know is a reflection of staffing problems that everyone has this year. All that said, I’d go back when visiting family there,…
I cannot say enough about the eagerness to serve from the entire staff. This is difficult to do in today's climate of "hard to find workers." You would not know it at this hotel. They are all working so hard to take care of their guests. They all have wonderful attitudes as they are so responsive. I have never "moved" into a hotel before for several months, and these people make me feel as much as home as I possibly could be!
I recently stayed for one week in a Queen 1 bedroom and it was fabulous. The entire hotel staff was lovely, so friendly and customer service focused and this makes all the difference! Overall, it was a generous sized space and I enjoyed having a full couch, overlooking the back woods on the property with television also within easy viewing, full kitchen including large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric cooktop and coffee maker, with cookware, cutlery etc. There was a full laundry room that I did not use. It’s so rare to find all of these amenities available in a hotel space of this price. The room also had several lamps of various sizes providing generous warm lighting, excellent quality linens and a very comfortable bed, located in a separate space from the main living area, with a door. The bathroom was nicely designed, excellent lighting for make up application and wall to wall mirror, sink separate from shower and toilet. The room was very quiet, I had a next door neighbor, but only heard the person coming and going from the front door. So many hotels have paper thin walls and thankfully this was not the case. It was nice to have a take away breakfast available at the front desk until I could receive my grocery delivery. Netflix, Showtime and other internet TV services were available, along with cable, and there was a second TV in the bedroom. Uber Eats and Door Dash offered many delivery choices and grocery delivery is available through Instacart or Amazon/Whole Foods. The hotel is located near two grocery stores, various retail, and several restaurants, but the property sits back far enough from the main road to be very quiet as a whole. I highly recommend Residence Inn Westford to anyone, staying for any reason.…
Second week within 60 days and the staff and accommodations gets worse. Traveling as a care giver for my granddaughter as my DIL works for a local company. Since November we have heard every excuse as to why the pool was not in operation. Every staff member had a different lie. One day, the front desk manager call a nearby sister prop to gain permission for me and a toddle to use their facilities. After I drove 20 miles there, the manager at the sister hotel stated that no one called him. After I was able to produce that actual name of the staff member he allowed me to stay. Our suite doesn’t have the proper utilities to use the kitchen and when asking for pots and pans and dishes, we are told many reason why we can’t get any. The table in the dining area is barely standing. We can’t get room service and have to empty our own waste cans. They expect top dollar and not offering services or amenities. Never again!…
