After having some unpleasant experiences in hotels/motels, we were extremely pleased with the experience we had with this lodge. Checking in was easy and the woman at the front desk was friendly, polite and helpful. The room was very clean with no odors; no stains on the floors/walls/bedding; coffee pot, microwave, and mini-fridge were clean and worked well; bathroom was...

We love the feeling of going back in time, yet retaining the amenities of todays world. And we keep going to that peaceful area of Mass. The view from our rear window says a thousand words. Even saw a bear last year! The mist from the winding stream floats up to embrace your dreams, in the early morning light. Jessica...

Thank you for writing us a review! We're very happy that you enjoy staying with us. Our regular rooms and family rooms look out over the Quaboag River, so please make sure to request a river view every time that you stay. We've seen the black bear a few times this year; he seems to wander through the area every...

Stayed 4 nights and found the staff very friendly. The room was very clean, quiet and nice view of pond in the back. Room was cleaned every day and brought extra coffee when asked. I had everything I needed including hair dryer! Near a lovely town with shops and places for food, gas and shopping. Very pretty area. Will definitely...

Copper Lantern Motor Lodge was a great place to stay. It was family oriented and the room was extremely clean. The owner was very courteous and willing to go the nine yards for anything that we needed. The best place to stay in the area.

Classic 'Motor Lodge' type motels can go either way, but the Copper Lantern is a gem. The rooms are well maintained, and clean, the amenities are just right, and the owner, Jessica, is very thoughtful. I was attending an event at Whiskey Hill nearby, and stayed over the weekend. My neighbors were nice and I enjoyed a drink out back...

A great value for the price. Well kept and clean. I was greeted warmly at the front desk and made very welcome. Excellent WiFi throughout the place and you need it since cell service is terrible in the area. I stayed here for a track weekend at the new Palmer Motorsports Park. Fellow track rats - this place is close,...

Thank you very much for having taken the time to write us a review. We are a small, humble roadside motel, but we really do try our best to make our guests feel comfortable. We're delighted that we're only ten minutes' drive away from the new racetrack, and I appreciate your having chosen to stay with us. Take care, and...

Everything was wonderful last year when we stayed there to go to the Brimfield flea market, so we're going back and have reservations already. It's simple, clean and an easy place to stay. Better to support a family business than a chain any day. Loved to look out on the river and it was an easy drive to the flea...

A big crew of women traveled together to Brimfield for their fall antique fair, and we stayed at the Copper Lantern. Plain, no-frills, clean rooms for a great deal ($69/room!) twenty minutes from our destination. We were not "wowed" by our rooms, but then again, we were perfectly happy to be there.

Skip the national chains and give this classic motor lodge a try. It will take you back to your childhood road trips with mom & dad, when lunch was a picnic at a roadside rest stop, soft-serve ice cream was a rare treat (instead of an everyday right), and you suffered through without air conditioning in the way-back seat of...
