The hotel at first view seemed to be an office building with a temporary sign tacked out over the door. Staff unfriendly, we had two rooms one on the first floor seemed like it had been recently redone, but bathrom had grimy grouting, black mold, ceiling over tub peeling off like the one upstairs had leaked down, and bugs. One...

Family run motel by a daughter Catherine aka Cat who could care less. Very rude, abrasive and condescending. Location would be ideal for a decent hotel who cares about appearance, customer and quality. Look for smiles on the workers faces...there are none. Look for smiles on the faces of those who stay here... there are none. That tells all.

Broken bed springs to cigarette smoke billowing up from the lobby door. The room is the worst in the area for hotels. Its the bottom of a pretty big barrel! You can do a lot better if you just look a little harder. I stayed here for 2 weeks on assignment for work...I think my work hates me because this...

The location is convenient, breakfast was good and the staff helpful but the facility was undergoing renovations while we were there. The Tavern was closed as was the pool and we couldn't get to the fitness center. Our room was a good size and the beds were firm but the glaze on tub was peeling off and the smoke detector...

We read all the reviews and laughed hysterically at lots of them. Many were very entertaining. So after reading we very skeptically booked two rooms for ourself and the couple we were traveling with. Our thinking was..."it's only 1 short night and the price was fantastic for Boston. How bad could it be?" The truth is, the hotel is old...

The location is great. Right on the small lake in Wakefield. The hotel has lots of potential but just need a facelift (badly). There is a restaurant and bar there but I didn't go to them but I also didn't hear them. The rooms are generally clean (except that I found a used bar of soap) in the shower. The...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! Booked it based on photos and reviews and I am sorely disappointed. Ceilings cracked, paint chipped, moldy bathroom, carpet floors feel wet, door will only open sometimes, pool not available, lake and playgrounds not accessible. The restaurant has a bowling alley menu and staff who ignore paying clients. Cancelling last 2 days of a 3...

The room was okay but not as it was reviewed by others or shown in website photographs. Check-in staff was not friendly and failed to share upon check-in how early the continental breakfast ended, so I missed the cutoff time. Only saving grace of hotel, was the Restaurant Manager, who was so kind and nice as to ensure I had...
