"Exquisitely off the grid" An elegant eco-hotel, Villa del Faro is a unique oasis nestled on a deserted beach. The Villa was created with the integrity of the surrounding desert in mind. We offer solitude instead of shops, safe swimming beaches, great books, gourmet food, snorkeling, surfing, and just pure beauty! One hour north of the Los Cabos Airport, but a world away in seclusion and serenity. Eight separate Casitas. Breakfast included.

We stayed 3 nights in the Stone cottage and 2 in the Bali Room. The Stone Cottage is right right right on the beach. We swam three times a day, and lounged, and had nopales cactus we grilled on the fire BBQ every night. A beachlovers dream! The Bali Room has knock out views, and

Beautiful architecture in an absolutely stunning setting. Staff and owners are beyond lovely. Not the place to go if you're looking for action, but perfect if you want quiet and comfort. We were there for four nights-we had views in every direction, and one gorgeous sunrise after

I reviewed Villa del Faro awhile ago, and gave it an excellent rating. I recently stayed there again. The very good news is that nothing has changed. Still the best in the Baja. What I really enjoyed this time around was the interesting mix of people who seem to be attracted t

Great experience at Villa del Faro. We stayed in Casa Alberca by the pool. The view from our room was stunning and the sound of the surf added to the ambiance. The owners and all the staff were very helpful and friendly. They gave us great local recommendations and provided s

After a long research we decide to spend 2 weeks at Villa del Faro. There is plenty to love about the place and probably you have read about that already!

Ok, if I take inland road how long from the airport? I need to catch 2pm flight .
We are about one hour from the Los Cabos Airport.

I am thinking to book the stone house, or Bali, are they both no window and open air? in early May will it be any insect or too hot for open air?
The Bali is open air on the West side. The Stone Cottage is also open, but with small windows. Both of those rooms have relatively few insects, but we have no air conditioning at Villa del Faro. It is quite lovely in early May.

Hi: I like to book 2 night at your hotel, but I have concern about the toad condition, if we come from Cabo which way should we come from, according to your information, coastal road is not good, you suggest inland road, we are having a small car will be safe to drive on the dirt road? thank you. fran
You should take the inland road through Palo Escopeta. A small car is fine, just take it slow. Marilyn, Villa del Faro

Hi! I wanted to know if there's a restaurant (and if yes what are the prices) and if there are restaurants or other activities to do in the area. We are staying 4 nights and I want to make sure there is no hidden cost.
Hello, Breakfast is included, we don't serve lunch, and dinners are available upon request, with a set menu in table d'hôte fashion, at $45/person. There is a restaurant five minutes down the road where lunch and dinner are always served. Nearby activities include snorkeling, swimming at the beach, surfing, kayaking, and horseback-riding. We provide snorkel equipment and and can lend out surfboards and kayaks if weather permits. Horseback riding is with neighbors and has a cost. Scuba diving in Cabo Pulmo is wonderful and has a cost. I hope this answers your questions!
