This place has been acquired by the Inn at Tweksbury. It has no signage. Paint is peeling. No breakfast. Pool closed. Just disgusting. Read the other reviews. A total disgusting stay. Do not stay here. It should be rated even lower.

I have stayed at this hotel many times during my career. Prior to this stay, I had last stayed before the Covid pandemic. Even at that time, the hotel was starting to show it's age. During this visit, I had a sense that the hotel had declined even further. The lobby area appeared run-down. There was limited staff (1 person) at the front desk, there was garbage piled in the trash cans in the front of the hotel, and the rooms looked like they had been last refurbished in the 1990's. Nothing about this hotel was nice. But the worse thing for me was a feeling that things were unsafe here. There were unscrupulous looking people hanging out in the front of the building and in the lobby area. Young kids were roaming around in large groups, and questionable people were roaming around the corridors on the level where my room was located. In the parking lot at the rear of the building, there were many cars parked, more so than it seemed people staying at the hotel. To me it appeared that part of the hotel was assigned as public housing, although I have no way to verify this. I have been a member of the Holiday Inn "Priority Club" (Now IHG rewards) since 1985. I have always stayed at Holiday Inn properties, hundreds of nights in my career. I chose HI because the hotels are usually fairly priced, in safe locations, and the properties well maintained. I can tell you that this stay has changed my mind a bit. The IHG management needs to decide it these are the types of properties they want to keep associated with their name brand. To me, it's a no brainer.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in January 2022. There was no hot water throughout my stay. There were numerous safety violations. Other customers were offered full refunds. I have only been refunded for 1 of 3 nights. I have been dealing with incompetent staff at IHG ever since, who keep thanking me for being a Platinum Elite member, and then treating me like an idiot. No more IHG for me and my family members, after decades of being very loyal customers. I will cancel my IHG credit card too.

My daughter and I drove all the way up from Maine and wanted to stay in a nice clean upscale hotel, so we choose to stay here at this Holiday Inn. The hotel is very hard to find as other businesses was before it, at one point we were sure we got lost. The staff was friendly especially Antonio the bartender and he also was breakfast server. We did take out dinner which we ate in our room, too much seasoning on the fries. Breakfast was delish. Room was clean, bed comfy. We have unplug the refrigerator it was acting up. However, I recommend that they get a computer and printer station so guest can print their own documents or tickets or whatnot. I was so disappointed when I arrive and notice I couldn't print a parking pass. The kind gentleman at the front desk in the morning give me some hope that I could email him the parking pass and he could print it.... nope.. an email take seconds to reach another server and for an hour they couldn't receive my email... you guys need a printer for guest.

Stayed overnight January 8, 2022. Have stayed here 5-6 times over the past couple years. Pulling a uhaul trailer so parked in south lot next to another truck. Fully aware of the signs saying parking at your own risk and not responsible for theft of items. Arrived about 9:30PM January 8. Checked in to hotel and planned to depart about 7AM Jan 9. Upon leaving hotel in the morning, I realized my trailer was broken into (as the sliding door was wide open) and valuables were stolen. I went in and talked to Laura.. who was very apologetic and nice. She called the police on my behalf. She is a definite asset to that hotel. After doing a quick interview with the Tewksbury police (who were also very professional) and filing a police report, they stated that they have had multiple issues at this property and have previously pleaded with ownership to get cameras to assist them and protect the customers and staff. This review is being written to inform future customers to be aware of this potential issue but just as importantly to request that ownership invest in a camera system. There are ZERO cameras INSIDE or OUTSIDE the building.. anywhere.. while its a safety issue for customers it is vitally important to protect their own staff, especially late in the evening hours. PLEASE protect your customers and staff. As far as the hotel condition and stay, it has seen better days and definitely needs attention but given the issues with covid etc... ive seen and been in much worse but it was sad to see how its declined since my first stay a few years ago.

This was a quick trip to sign up for my pension the hotel was located in a business park easily accessed from the highway. Location was quiet grounds appeared well maintained, front desk staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and my only complaint was the bed was way to soft for my liking. Extremely uncomfortable for me to get any sleep that night. The in house restaurant menu was limited and most quest were picking up their meals to eat in room and I ate in the restaurant. The only person working was the host who did double duty as waiter bar tender and host. I picked this place for the price which was a bargain for this hotel brand

A comfortable, well appointed room, the rooms could use a bit of updating and maintenance but otherwise are fine. The staff are friendly and the hotel is well located, close to the highway and amenities. We will stay here on our way back. The pub is not open at this time but the restaurant is. There is plenty of free parking available.

2 people, 2 towels, 2 washcloths, no coffee maker in room. (I received better accomodations at a much lower priced Choice hotel. I noticed a young man playing with a large dog not on a leash. The dog was running around. I questioned the women at the desk because I have allergies to pets. She answered that they are definetly a pet friendly hotel and the room was thoroughly cleaned. I do not believe the room was thoroughly cleaned. Dining room only, no complimentary breakfast. The bathroom door squeeked so bad that you could not go in the middle of the night without waking one another. I paid $156.38 for one night and that was with a discount. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn again.

We stayed at this hotel so we could be close to family that we were visiting. My main complaint is that everywhere in the hotel smelled like cigarette smoke. It got so unbearable that I had to buy air fresheners for our room. I was nauseous from the smell and unfortunately we had booked a five night stay. In addition, there seemed to always be people lingering near the hotel’s entrances.
