Lobby bathrooms not well maintained (vents have visible dust and webs, smelled like mold/mildew), lobby trash cans overflowing, water filling station in fitness center was nonfunctioning and no water anywhere else(they said it was because of covid precautions but that does not make sense as coffee station was readily accessible with hot water and they could have easily put cold water or even room temperature water right next to it - I think they were really just wanting to justify selling $2 bottles), only one ice machine worked on all 7 floors of hotel, most pieces of cardio equipment were not working, front desk agent disappeared from desk at 8 in morning I had to yell if anyone was on duty and I received a dirty look and unkind response when someone finally came out, breakfast wasn’t fully ready on time. Not sure the thought process behind the not providing water, when front desk agent said we should all sacrifice for the high risk population during this pandemic - I suggested if they want to keep the water station closed, maybe they participate in the sacrifice by selling the water bottles at cost so it wont seem that its just about sales. Im all about being cautious but the policies seemed inconsistent as other areas of hotel seemed to be very germ friendly while having the water filling station in weight room working seems reasonable. Example, at breakfast, there was a basket of apples anyone can grab from. Not sure how not being able to fill your bottle in fitness center or anywhere else is deemed unsafe but everyone’s hands on the same apples is ok.…
Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent; hot and fresh. Bed was clean and comfy. The hotel is very dated. Carpet throughout is dirty and stained. Just not worth the money. It was close by to where we needed to be but I won’t stay here again.
Room smelled like feet. Carpet filthy. Shower dirty. Hole in bathroom door. Housekeeping knocked on the door twice before 10 am on our day of checkout. So annoying. Breakfast was cold and gross. Staff was rude and off putting. Would rather sleep in my car.
The hotel is dated and looks nothing like the photos online. The rooms are old and in need of an overhaul. The room and bathroom looked dirty and the walls had holes that were patched and not repainted so their were giant white patch marks. It just appeared to be very dirty, because it is so old. I would not stay here again. Needs major renovations.
Internet was poor, The furniture and carpet had stains that have clearly been there for a while. The couch bed was very uncomfortable. The service was very good though and the breakfast was enjoyable.
Stayed in a pet room, didn’t expect to have the cleanest of rooms. Slight stench that you eventually become nose blind to. Old sheets left underneath the kitchen sink was gross. Room warm thermostat not.
Stayed in 4 different hotels will travelling in US. The service from staff in this hotel was far better than any other hotel. Staff were excellent. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was fine and it was a good location for sight seeing.
Good location, safe area. Walking distance from restaurants and shops. Not hard to get to downtown Boston or casino near by. Rooms are a little dated. But overall the quality of the hotel isn’t bad, if you just need a place to rest and recharge.
Nice stay. Good breakfast with assortment of food to fit all dietary needs. Thank you for having different sugar substitutes besides the pink stuff. . Easy checkin and knowledgeable staff. Walking distance to orange line to get downtown. Room was clean and quiet. I would stay here again.
Very disappointed with this stay. The furniture in the rooms were way too big for the square footage. The chair would tip over when you got up. The desk was way too big and positioned awkwardly. Not everything described on the website was available. Front desk staff at night was very unhelpful. The motion light in the bathroom is unnecessary. Won't be staying there again!
