I stayed at this B&B for 3 nights in June. Without exaggerating I was barely through the door when the male owner asked me to pay in full, I said I would at least like to see the room before I paid any money and was told that I had to pay now as that was the way they preferred...

Unless they expect to get additional charges (and we don't, since everything is included), most B&Bs and Hotels these days collect upon arrival, or even in advance. We prefer to collect on arrival because it eliminates the problem of the guest needing to track us down when they leave, and worse, if there's a problem with their method of payment,...

The b and b is comfortable and nice (although the beds way too soft for our liking). BUT. in the middle of the night, the fire alarm started going off. It went off for hours. We explored as it was so disruptive, but it needed resetting and you need a key to reset it. They finally turned it off at...

Unfortunately we were having issues with the phone lines which connect to the alarm system, and the alarm did go off that evening. Not the full-blown fire alarm, but the "beep beep" alarm that warns that the connection to the monitoring company has been compromised. We didn't notice the problem until 3 a.m., but, on the other hand, our cell...

Having a child at Tufts, I was looking for a nice B&B within walking distance. I have stayed at another and must say, with total honesty that I much prefer Morrison House B&B. I stayed in the Davis Room which meant I had to share a bathroom down the hall with another room and although I thought it would be...

After some searching near and far, I settled on this B&B for our Boston stay. The choice was made easy by its closeness to the 'T' station, Davis Square, and its interesting collection of restaurants. Another factor was cost. We were not disappointed: I wanted a room with bathroom, so we picked the Boston Room. It was cozy (a bit...

If B&B's were ranked like hotels, I'd gave it a 5-star rating. The Innkeepers, Ron and Lynde were gracious and the atmosphere of the B & B was warm and homey. We booked the Warren-Sparrow Room and it was very clean ( as was the rest of the house!) The bed + bedsheets felt almost luxurious. The amenities provided were...

This lovely and well-maintained B&B is located very close to Davis Sq. which has shops, restaurants, banks, and a subway station to down town Boston. The room was very comfortable and clean, breakfast was enjoyable and was held around one large table, which allowed getting to know the other guests (most of them for the second or more times!). Sebastian...

Amazingly close to the T, which is only a 10-15min from Boston. Also located in Davis which is a great little town to walk around and enjoy the live music and great food. Planning to stay there again next time.

My husband and I recently stayed in the Warren Sparrow Room at Morrison House. The room was spacious with ample room for personal belongings. The bed was very comfortable, and there was a nice easy chair too. We enjoyed leaving the ceiling fan on at night, though the air conditioner worked quite well. This room has an extra sink outside...

Traveled to Somerville, Mass. To visit family. We had no prior experience with this bed & breakfast but location was excellent so we booked it. Keyword is excellent - location - two blocks from Davis Square and T station, facility was clean and modern inside, and hosts were friendly and accommodating. We were very happy with this bed & breakfast...
