Enjoyed weekend in Berkshires, made special by staying at this quaint and comfortable B & B. Hosts were friendly, helpful, and our requests. Our breakfast was amazing and included fresh omelets, freshly cut fruit and homemade muffins! Thank you, for this delightful weekend. We'll see you again next year.

This place is a disgrace. It was dirty, dingy, old and a joke. Inn keep Ron is a very nice guy but the place lacks any professional development and maintenance. The rooms are gross. I felt dirty even sleeping in the old and nasty bed. The floors are covered in dirt and the walls are all Cobb webs. Ron, who...

Driving in you immediately notice that the house is in need of repair and maintenance. It looks nothing like the website pictures. Paint is falling off the house and the yard is in need of attention. The facility felt cluttered, but more striking was the tremendous number of huge cobwebs hanging from walls, corners of ceilings, light fixtures, between the...

The B&B is on Main Street in Sheffield, and we had a front room (room 2). The room was spacious and comfortable, but there was a lot of traffic noise. I used ear plugs. Room air-conditioner worked well, Bathroom was small. Wi-fi was slow but adequate. They seem to have a full breakfast, that looked good, but we had a...

You can't go wrong here. We have stayed numerous times for a family reunion in the area. We all enjoy the 1802 house very much and we keep coming back. The rooms are comfortable the owners are wonderful and the breakfast is great. I can't say enough good things about the 1802 house.

200 year old home right on Main Street, Ron is an accommodating innkeeper, great homemade muffins, provided shaker and ice bucket for old friends that were stopping by before an event in town. We had room 2 which was lovely but not as quiet as a room in back

We had a great stay at the 1802 House. Ron is an excellent host who, despite having a full house the weekend we were there, was attentive and made us feel welcome. The house is charming. Like all antiques it has its quirks, but that is part of the fun. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was plentiful...

Nice and reasonably priced place to stay in Sheffield, which is close to but away from the crowds and much more expensive inns in Lenox and Great Barrington. A good hearty but healthy breakfast (not too much oil or butter; turkey bacon). The owner made delicious gluten-free muffins for us. He also gave us good advice on where to do...

1802 House is comfortable. The bedrooms look like something out of your grandmother's house--flowered wallpaper, tasseled lamps, painted floors, big windows with lots of light. The breakfast is fantastic (homemade muffins, fresh fruit, and a delicious frittata) as is the always available supply of things to drink--from tea to wine. Ron is a good host, detail-oriented and attentive. He allowed...

We stayed for one night at the 1802 House on a mini road trip through New England. Ron met us when we arrived and was a kind and hospitable host, with loads of information to help us pick a place to eat dinner. I was worried the bed felt slightly rickety but it was absolutely fine! The room was cutely...
