We traveled to Mass for the Bershire Choral Festival. The location of the B&B is excellent for attending these concerts. However, the qualify of the home was not as shown on the website nor what we expected. The property has great potential but as it exists today it was diappointing. The first inpression was very poor with overgrown landscaping and... More

My husband tried to book is a romantic get away - we drove 4 hrs and were exhausted arrived at 10 PM. The place smelled dirty and musty. Our room was even more musty. It was cold with no way to turn up the heat. A dirty old A/C unit had been left in the window. There were mosquitos, some... More

No key to your door so you can't keep valuables there. Run down and in great need of an upgrade. Would be worth 1/2 the price based on the condition of the B&B. No amenities whatsoever in bathroom other than leftovers from previous guests so bring your own shampoo, cream rinse, lotion, etc. even the soap bar was a small... More

Choose this B&B if you like musty old homes; being told where & how to sit for breakfast; condescension by the owner; no breakfast choices, minimal bedroom amenities and cold showers due to limited hot water in a full house.

Wasn't able to stay due to Hurricane Sandy, but the proprietor offered give us a credit for a stay at another time—they don't take credit cards. A month later, after ignoring our attempts to reach him numerous times both phone and email, he reneged on the credit claiming we never got back to him and that his offer was only... More

Comfortable but unfussy antiques, friendly and helpful innkeepers and a wonderful, fresh homecooked breakfast make this a great getaway in the Berkshires. The beautiful wood floors and tasteful, yet simple antiques make it feel like a visit to your great-aunt's summer cottage. The grounds are comfortable for cozying up with a good book or stargazing. Our last two visits, the... More

Located on the outskirts of Great Barrington, MA, southwestern Berkshires. Beautiful countryside, in a peaceful well appointed and well maintained home/B&B. Multiple "arts" opportunities are within very easy reach. Hosts were gracious and accomodating.

The owners are exceptionally friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable about the area, what places to visit, and restaurants to eat at, etc. This is one of the better bread & breakfasts for certain. It has that cozy, warm feeling as soon as you arrive. The house and rooms are very well kept. The rooms are large, and tastefully decorated. The... More

=I used to stay at this place when it was a simple country inn. It had more rooms with private baths and it was so relaxed and relaxing. We brought our dog a few times and the owners were always very welcoming of him (and he's a 90-lb collie.) The breakfasts brought to your door were also great. And the... More
