This top quality B&B offers the facilities expected of a small boutique hotel retaining its significant history with the modern expectation of today's traveller. The owners - Bill & Eleanor- are very engaging and pleasant, extremely well organised and have a superb eye for detail. The rooms are well appointed providing all the necessary requirements- tv, wifi, hair dryer, bath...

Jacob Hill Inn - the most wonderful B&B I've ever visited! We were greeted by Bill and Eleanor, the proprietors, who were so friendly and hospitable. The grounds are well manicured and lush with greenery and flowers - so New England in the Fall! They offer well maintained suites, a club house (the barn), a swimming pool, tennis court, pool...

It was a co-incidence, but Bill, the proprietor, happened to be walking up the driveway with a bottle of wine when we pulled into the Jacob Hill Inn. Before I could roll down the window, he welcomed us by name and offered us a glass of wine. It was a great start to a wonderful and relaxing stay. Even though...

We get together with former neighbors, B&B fans, every fall. This year they chose the Providence area and Historic Jacob Hill Inn. As others have said, the hosts, Bill & Elenora, are helpful and caring, and were very helpful with suggestions and dinner reservations. I particularly appreciated the breakfast, which was good and healthy and not the over the top...

What a wonderful stay we enjoyed at Jacob Hill Inn! The beautifully decorated rooms (highly recommend the Vanderbilt Suite with its private deck) each with lovely views and every amenity make an overnight feel like a week away. Elenora and Bill see to it that every detail is taken care of from the personal greeting with a glass of wine...

This was our second stay at the Jacob Hill Inn and we plan to make this a tradition. From the moment you drive up, Bill welcomes you and immediately you feel you're family. Bill and Eleanora do everything to make your stay AWESOME. They make suggestions on things to do and places to eat but are NEVER pushy. Everything is...

We loved our stay at Jacob Hill Inn. Firstly, Bill and Elenora could not do enough to make our stay so great. They are the nicest hosts! They provided us with info about Providence and Newport plus always gave written directions to and from the Inn. Our room was lovely and the grounds were gorgeous. Would gladly stay again.

We so enjoyed our stay at the Jacob Hill Inn. Loved the house, the room, the grounds and the attentive service. The perfect place for a weekend getaway or for a country reprieve from the city when visiting close-by Providence.

We loved our time at the Historic Jacob Hill Inn. The property and the grounds were gorgeous and our room was spacious plus we had a deck and chairs overlooking the pool and the grounds. Bill & El are charming hosts and go out of their way to please their guests. They have thought of everything and are quite helpful...

The owners were super nice. But the stay was annoying. The room had no couches even though so much room. Just two chair and a coffee table. And a lot of empty space. The owners claimed there was a rule against couches in a room. What? And to make matters worse, they had a 10 pm curfew in the lounge...
