The staff is friendly, and the amenities are sufficient. It’s located in a great area where I can walk to everything I need. We are returning guests. Unless you’re used to “high-end” lodgings, the Quality Inn Seekonk-Providence should be a pleasant stay.

The MOTEL is clean, has comfortable low bed. Not far from the airport PVD. Shopping close Walmart and restaurants, too. Coffee is available in office. The room had a microwave and refrigerator. The price is right, and we would stay again.

We were in town to visit our child and enjoy some of the sites in the Providence area. The building is older but clean and staff were nice particularly a nice young man named Ramana. He helped us a number of times and made our stay more pleasant. I suggest a raise.

We booked this motel through Southwest Airlines concierge which has been reliable in the past, but this place has real issues.
When we first checked in, we were prepaid through Southwest. The receptionist asked that I sign an agreement to pay the indicated amount — except that amount was blank. I asked what the charge was and she quoted $30 more than my reservation. I showed her the prepaid reservation and she shrugged. So I filled in the proper amount and then signed.
When we got to our room, I called the Southwest concierge who said I should not have been asked to sign anything. She called reception to try to straighten it out. I went back to the front desk and saw a sign with the manager on duty. I asked if I could speak with him and was told he wasn’t there. I asked if I could see the paper I signed and was told she was not “allowed to let me see it” nor could I have a copy! Excuse me!! Isn’t that illegal?
Got back to the room and was glad to see a safe because honestly, the motel looked pretty worse for wear. On the safe door was a sign that there was $1/day charge for using it. Really?? I have traveled all over the world and have Never seen a charge for a room safe (especially when the Guest Information book emphasizes they take no responsibility for “security of items left in the room.”)
As with all hotels, there is the Save the Earth request to reuse your towels but there is no towel rack!! You can see where there once had been one but no more. I usually try to reuse towels, but not when the only place to put them is in a wet ball on the counter.
We left at 10:15 saying hi to housekeeping who watched us leave, and returned at 2:30 to find the room untouched. When I called the front desk I was told they were gone for the day, but asked if we had had the privacy sign up. I said just until 10:00 and they had watched us leave. The reply was that he would need to hear “their side of the story” and would give us fresh towels if we needed.
As I emptied our room trash cans in the front lobby, I knew I would not be staying here again.
Pros: clean room on arrival, decent beds, microwave and refrigerator.
Cons: Management policies, mildewed shower curtain, poor maintenance. (Needs renovation badly!)

Even though this looks like a crack motel, the room was actually not bad. The problem was that after paying for the room on Expedia, I foolishly agreed handed over my card "for incidentals" - as if there would be any incidentals in a one-star motel. That set the stage for the staff to charge me an additional nearly $300 for the stay, which had already been paid by Expedia. I then had to waste 2 months in a fight with my credit card company to back me up. (Don't get a Citi card, that's another story.)

I booked this hotel from Expedia for 4 days in July (12th-16th). In May I cancelled it (so in PLENTY OF TIME.) Fast forward to July 13th, I get a notification of a charge (it was declined because I didn’t have the money in my account) for the full amount of my stay. I called the hotel to ask them why because I had cancelled it already. Guy at the desk informs me that they never got the cancellation from Expedia. I told him I had the email and asked him if there was anything else I needed to do. He said no, since the charge was declined anyway. I then get 3 separate charges of $25 each ($75 total was charged to my card) on my account today from the hotel (after a charge of almost $200 was declined on my account.) I call the hotel again, and was informed again that they never got the cancellation. I explained everything, but it didn’t matter. I was told to contact Expedia and have them call the hotel directly to confirm the cancellation. So I did. Expedia calls them, tells them they have the confirmation of the cancellation (I still have the cancellation email as proof) and they told Expedia that they didn’t get the cancellation and would not be refunding me! I don’t know what more they want. I have the email I’ve offered to forward to them. Expedia themselves called them (as per request) and they STILL decide refuse my refund! Even if it was a mistake on Expedia’s end, why punish me and continue to charge me even after having proof of cancellation. Very slimy. Don’t give this place your money!

Many members of my family booked rooms at this motel (certainly not a hotel) for a family funeral. While I understand COVID restrictions (so no breakfast included was not a problem), I don't understand, a very shabby lobby in terms of decor and furniture; a pervasive odor throughout the facility of smoke (even though there are multiple "no smoking signs' posted; rooms that clearly had not been updated in multiple years - our room had no towel rack, only one towel upon check-in, TV that didn't function properly, cigarette burns in the comforter, peeling wallpaper everywhere and evident debris behind the bed, stained carpeting. While the rates were reasonable, it was still pretty much a robbery to pay for any room with quality at this low of a level. On other occasions we've stayed at a nearby Hampton Inn, but that was sold out, and my cousin thought this would be a comparable solution. NOT AT ALL, NO WAY, NO HOW. This place needs to major renovation. It does not give a feeling of cleanliness at all, and I was just glad that we only had to bear this for one night, and that was almost unbearable.

I won't get into the fact that we booked a room at this horrid hotel for two nights, and ended up checking out 2 hours after we checked in. Just know that management at this hotel does not care about the safety of its guests. Especially young 12-13 year old girls.
With that being said, this hotel is an absolute dump. The pictures that are online are completely deceiving. Upon walking into the hotel, you automatically get hit with the smell, and our room was no better. It was old with peeling and/or missing paint. Dirty carpets with uncomfortable beds, and the sheets and pillows smelled atrocious. The pool was old with the concrete coming up in the pool. There were literally holes in the bottom of the pool. The pool towels available were tiny with big yellow stains on them. Clean or dirty? That's anyones guess.
Please keep in mind that the hotel room windows look out onto the pool area.
Because of an incident that was handled terribly by the manager of this establishment, 4-5 rooms of guests, us included, checked out. We were not with these other guests, but they were also involved in the horrible incident that occurred, which prompted all of us to check out same day.
I have noticed that someone at this hotel is responding to reviews on here. I do NOT want a reply from the hotel, I do not need an apology or any lame excuse. There is nothing you can say that will make up for the fact that your hotel is disgusting, unsafe for your guests, that you don't CARE about the safety of your guests, and that the manager on duty that day was a complete idiot. And that is me being nice, because I have other words to describe him and your crappy hotel.

When we registered no mention was made of limited room/housekeeping services. Later we saw one sign that said rooms are serviced 3 times a week and a different sign said they would be serviced two times a week. The bedding was in terrible condition. The comforter had numerous stains and there was a torn hole in it. This is not acceptable - especially when paying $200+ a night. We had planned to stay 4 nights - checked out first thing after the first night.
