First things first-- our room, in mid-September, was on the FIFTH floor. No elevator. Heavy bags. Oh boy, do I wish I'd asked if they had anything else, even on the 4th floor. Despite that daily walk (which I admit I dreaded at the end of a long day), we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Our check-in was a bit... More

You just can't get any better than this. Super cute hotel - newly remodeled with design in mind. The staff is friendly, rooms are comfy and so adorable. Nice Lather products in the bathrooms - and fluffy towels, waffle weave robes... The sparkling water stations are to die for- so easy to stay hydrated with bubbles! Porch sitting is a... More

Such an interesting hotel. So rustic looking from outside with beautiful front veranda but the redonon the inside.... although clean and neat... is so incongruent to the look of the outside. No telephone in your room if you need to get room service BUT has a tremendous locker system to lock your belongings in if you should arrive before check... More

Pros: Good location from the ferry and the porch is a nice spot to sit and relax. Cons: The walls are so thin you could hear every little noise from our bedroom. We could hear conversations from the room next to us perfectly, and when they decided to watch tv at 6am in the morning, it sounded like it was... More

Well located, updated, spotless and charming. I enjoyed the convenience of short walks to dining, bus stop, ferry and harbor. Sitting in a rocker on the front porch and looking out on the harbor was pretty cool. My positive impression was enhanced a week after my stay when a package arrived with a phone charger I had forgotten in my... More

For our fifth annual fall girls weekend, we chose Martha's Vineyard. A few of us had never been there and it was a real treat! We stayed in Oak Bluffs at Summercamp and couldn't have picked a more perfect location!! We had two rooms for the six of us, two queen beds in each room and we ended up on... More

I read some of the bad reviews and was hesitant to book a stay here but it turned out better than expected. I picked it primarily for its location and that was spot on. Although I believe it also depends on the room you get. I stayed in the other building with elevator but I actually never used it. The... More

Read and pay attention to the negative reviews. The rooms are small but most importantly the mattresses are lumpy and unsupportive and the sheets are polyester....we were so uncomfortably warm, even with the AC on 66 degrees (the lowest setting), that we tied the sheet to the post above the air conditioner so cold air would circulate under the sheets.... We stayed three nights on our boat in Oak Bluff's. The hotel lets you use their showers for $20. You get a fresh towel, shampoo, conditioner and soap. Loved it and highly recommend! Private and clean.

Pluses: Staff & customer service: We didn't need anything unusual, but the people at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating every time we interacted. Location: It is directly across the street from the harbor. Extremely short walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. Modern: The building is extremely old. You can tell it's old by the outside... More
