The bathroom fixtures were old and stained but other than that the room as immaculately clean. The "Leisure" room I had was small but certainly adequate. I was attending a conference there and I'm still not sure why anyone would necessarily seek out Northhampton. Food provided for the conference was average to maybe a little better than average. The staff...

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend to attend a concert at the Calvin Theatre just across the street. What a treat! A lovely, elegant, but not stuffy hotel just a few short steps from the theater and a short walk from ecclectic downtown Northampton. The staff was cheerful and helpful, our room was pretty and clean, and...

I stayed at the Hotel Northampton for the location alone. Street parking on a Saturday with nice weather is nearly impossible in the middle of Northampton unless you are staying at the hotel. The hotel rooms themselves are merely adequate. They are extremely clean but nothing special. The bathroom smelled strongly of bleach, but at least it was spotless. The...

Mildew smell in room, big and loud 1960's forced hot air blower, toilet that barely flushes, saggy bed, no outlets to plug in phone or computer, noise from street and thin walls/ceiling in room. The location is great, but for the money you'd definitely be better off staying somewhere outside of town, driving in, and parking.

I reserved a block of rooms at Hotel Northampton for my recent wedding, and reserved a suite for my husband and I for several nights before and after the wedding. The reservation manager, Ruby, could not have been nicer, and kept on top of my reservation, letting me know when they block was getting full, and ensuring that all of...

I stayed here several times over the month. From the first check-in, I was treated like I was already a cherished guest and that treatment just increased in affection and demonstrativeness with every stay! The rooms are fine. They are clean and the beds are comfy. Most of them lack full-length mirrors and some of them have awkward bathroom layouts....

My wife and I have family in the area and probably stay at the Hotel Northampton 8-10 nights a year. It's a quaint hotel and you cannot beat the location in downtown Northampton (it's also the only game in town really). That said, the location of your room as well as who your neighbors are will really make or break...

Yesterday we went to the Northampton Hotel for the Sunday Brunch. WOW!!! The food was excellent; the presentation and layout of the brunch was fantastic; and the cook who was incharge of the carving station/omlet station/and waffels should be identified as GREAT!! The prime rib was the best I have had in months; the best taste and cooked to perfection!!!...

Walking distance to Smith 10 minutes, near main shopping street, Wiggins Tavern (brought to this site from New Hampshire years ago) a charming dining experience, comfortable rooms of the period (1920s-50s) tho smaller than a newer hotel. Courteous staff. Ample parking behind hotel in a town that's car-choked.

As with the other reviewers I agree that you cannot beat the location, center of Northampton and within walking distance of many restaurants and Thornes Market. The rooms was tastefully decorated and very clean. One drawback, our room was on the first floor with no view except the walkway just outside our windows. We had to keep them closed the...
