When I spend $281 for a room (solo) in this part of the country, I expect it to be more than merely adequate. Yes, they have fluffy white robes, and I happen to like chintz. But I don't want to crawl under the furniture to find an outlet. The Gilchrist and Soames toiletries are nice, but there was no hair...

Do look like to crawl behind the bed for outlets? This hotel is for you. Do you like indifferent staff? Stay here. The only reason to stay here is location. The rooms are overly chintzed. The continental breakfast is appalling

Thank you for your feedback regarding your stay. Unfortunately at times it can be a challenge to arrange the furniture around the outlets in the guest rooms due to the historic nature of the property. Some of the rooms do not have as many outlets as may be desired. Our staff is always willing to supply power strips, extension cords,...

We booked the hotel for an overnight because of a wedding we were attending about an half hour away. The town of Northhampton is quite charming, and provides quite a lot to do. The hotel is part of the Historic Hotel collection, and was beautifully decorated in keeping with the period. The room decor was quite nice and was of...

We decided attended a wedding at the Hotel Northampton and we were shocked how gross the table cloth at our table was along with the silverware. It was stained when we sat down and the silverware had gross spots on it, not sure from what. We decided to not even bother coming back to try their restaurant despite the fact...

Classy, no glitz. Really a lovely old place, very nicely renovated to provide the comforts of a chain hotel with a lot more character. Breakfast in the sunny cafe is really pleasant, a great setting to hang out with your Smith student (if that's why you're visiting!)

This was a pleasant weekend away. The good: lovely lobby decorated for Christmas, very inviting. Convenient to shopping. The restaurants were the high point. The lower level pub was fab-great bar, nice menu. The downstairs restaurant was also great- good food & service. The upstairs restaurant was nice for breakfast, OK for lunch. Our room Was a dud. Very very...

I would give this hotel a perfect rating but the last 90 seconds ruined it. I was there for a wedding, and stayed one night. I was placed in the corner of the top floor next to several rooms with unsupervised adults. The room was nice, clean, and the bathroom was enormous. There was kids/young adults running around knocking on...

By friend and I wrote out on our Motorcycle from New Hampshire to see Aaron Lewis's show. The hotel is very lovely and the walls are covered in rich history of the hotel and tavern. Our Room was very nice, clean.. every little extra amenity there if you need it.. We had a late nite snack in the Tavern and...

We've been waiting for years to find a reason to stay at the Northampton... we visit Boston from upstate NY at least 3 or 4 times a year. And we're always driving by. This time decided it was time & we were not disappointed. We took one of the rooms on the 5th floor (#500) and smiled a bit when...

We are pleased to read that you enjoyed the amenities in room 500; the balcony is certainly lovely in the summer time! We appreciate your review and look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Good hotel, with decent beds. Bathroom was very clean, and very well equiped. Complimentary newspaper in the morning. They give you a coupon for Continental breakfast in the morning, but all it really is is youghurt and toast - therfore not a 5.
