Still in opening phase, we spent 4 days at this majestic new property. Some minor construction still going on (all the way down in the resort, so not too troublesome), good to be aware. Staff is just awesome! Priti whom we met at reception is so caring and helpful, and so is the assistant manager whose name I could not recall. The spa, small very charming special area while the ‘real’ spa is being finished, had one of the best therapists ever. Views are breathtaking, and the rooms, I should say villa, ALL have private swimming pools. The staff is wearing ‘opening team’ outfits, and really encourage you to give feedback. Very clever move. On thing I must not forget: the food is to die for. So tasty, so fresh. Currently the open around half of all villa’s to get started. Simply lovely……

The Sebali it’s a beautiful resort (adults only with spacious villa and private pool. If you are looking for a 5* service and a place where to relax, this is the place to stay in. We were treated like royalty by the staff, addressed by our names and greeted with a genuine smile every time. I was impressed how the staff communicated with each other and we didn’t have to ask twice for what we needed. They prepared a nice surprise for my sister’s birthday. The resort is located in the middle of the jungle and you can hear the birds singing a d listen to the calming sound of the waterfall and the resort is surrounded by rice fields. It's so green, you get the true Bali vibe here. Ubud it’s not very far away (15min) if no traffic and the hotel has a free shuttle bus to Ubud town. We spent 3D2N at The Sebali. We stayed at river view villa no 905 with a view of the waterfall in front of our room and the sound of the waterfall which made us relax. Spacious room, private pool with stunning views, very delicious food, refreshing massages, and the most outstanding part is the friendly and highly trained staff. Shoutout to Bli Yogi and Bli Ardika (driver), Kak Ayu (morning walk guide), Pak Yan Darmo (Head Chef) who really helped us during our stay at The Sebali 👍🏻 And they also provide a free shuttle bus at certain hours to Ubud Centre and various choices of morning daily activities (morning yoga, making canang sari, and daily morning walk). If you want to get to know Balinese culture as well as light exercise, then a morning walk will be perfect for you. Because we came when the hotel was only 2 weeks open, so there are some facilities still being built near the waterfall. This is a beautifully designed resort that blends perfectly with the surrounding environment. The open lobby is accessed via a bridge adjacent to rice terraces and the accommodation and facilities offer exceptional views. We stayed in a river view room, gazing out to the gorge vegetation and a powerful waterfall cascading opposite. For the nature lovers you can observe birds and butterflies from the terrace with infinity pool. The room has a very comfortable double bed and a bath tub for soaking while enjoying the view. The dining facilities are located to make the most of the views and are accessed by spiralling walkway down from the lobby or up from our room. The highest cafe / bar is best for breakfast with views far across the valley above the canopy. The lower restaurant has a view into the river gorge. There are additional facilities under construction perched even closer to the river. The food was very enjoyable, particularly the candlelit dinner. The staff are very well trained and service is outstanding. We could not have been made more welcome. The massage in the joglo is also a must-do. We stayed 4 nights and each day went exploring the hills, river valleys and rice terraces north of Ubud. The Sebali Resort is really beautiful. The rooms are a good size with nice model amenities. The room had a Lovely infinity pool that you could have a floating breakfast inside. The restaurant had some of the best Balinese dishes I'd tried whilst staying in Bali. The staff are also really welcoming and helpful if you need anything.

We had a wonderful stay here in summer 2022. My wife and I enjoyed our villa, as well as breakfast each day and a couples massage. The property sits on the side of a river canyon and the scenery is wonderful. The best part of our stay was the staff. They were very friendly without being “too much.” They took wonderful care of us, even helping out when we had some difficulties with our bank card. We would come back again just for all the friendly faces, and interesting conversations we had during our stay.

The Sebali Resort is set right in the forest among the trees with a waterfall and stream below. It is very private, relaxing and peaceful. The rooms are large and very comfortable with their own private pool, rain shower and bath. There is also a 20m lap pool over looking the stream. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and keen for guests to have a good time without being pushy. Drop off and pickup to and from Ubud is easy with lots to see and do. Many of the staff live in the nearby village of Kenderan and are enthusiastic about sharing about Bali. We very much enjoyed our morning walk to the village meeting the Made's dog and Ayu's mother and hearing about village life, their culture and about the rice fields. Access to private drivers at very reasonable rates was a huge bonus. They were able to make very good suggestions for local sightseeing, fun activities and silver shopping. Special mentions - Mt Batur with Yogi, the Tukad Cepung waterfall with Putu. The massage on site was one of the most relaxing we have had for a very long time and is highly recommended. This is a new resort for Sebali and was being renovated during our stay and only running at limited capacity and small menu. Meals are a little small, but very tasty. Highly recommend if you are after a quiet, relaxing fun holiday.…
