My husband and I went for honeymoon trip and stayed here for two days. A beautiful place for relaxation. It’s was very clean and peaceful. Wayan helped us on the transportations and also prepared us a delicious vegan breakfast. Thank you for the wonderful experience and service.
This place was amazing. It is the epitome of rest and relaxation. Rooms were nicely laid out and very clean. Loved the outdoor bathroom and rock shower. The bed was very comfortable! The location is a little outside of Ubud but I feel that added to the allure. Even the restaurant food was amazing. I learned that not all sambal is created equal, but the sambal served at the resort was the best (and the spiciest). Yummmmm!!!! The pool is very relaxing and clean as well. But what set this place apart was the service. They went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. We almost felt as if they couldn’t do enough for us. The staff was awesome in every way. My only regret is that I can’t remember all their names as they all deserve recognition. Yoga, Wayan, and Rilin? were all great. If we ever come back we will make sure to stay here—Thank you for a wonderful time!…
The villas are located in a remote and quiet area close to busy Ubud. With the rice fields around it’s a great place to relax. We booked a pool villa and the first night there way more or less no other guests. The second day however more guests arrived. At the pool it was still quiet. However, in high season and all villas occupied it must be hard to find some privacy outside. Staff is very friendly and helpful but sometimes it’s still hard trying to explain things and asking for recommendations. The only downside of our stay was the food. As an easy-going vegetarian there were not so many options on the menu. Food was absolutely average and highly overpriced. We understand that it’s not a budget accommodation however the restaurant could be improved. Be patient and explain things several times so that you’ll get your airport transfer at the correct time.…
We had a very pleasant and enjoyful stay at Kayangan. With superb service and helpful staff, we were experiencing warm hospitality. Kayangan is located in a very quite and peaceful place with unique scenery. I believe everybody will have the same feeling.
Nice view from our room, with a private pool, direct to a rice field. Good service, we ask for floating bfast, with a view options of bfast menu.. one of the best villa, that we ever stayed. Its also good for family
Stay for 2 nights, great location and awesome views ! Friendly staff and owner as well, need more improvement for in the room entertainment e.g. bluetooth speaker, better setup box and usb ports. Breakfast and food is good too
We stayed here for 3 nights @ private pool villas...the location is deep in the interiors and tricky to get in & out...Staff very warm & friendly...Very New property. All seems well but the cons are mentioned below:- A) Private pool in villas are pretty deep ans not kids friendly nor are they adept for older people or people with walking issues as there are no ladders to get in or out. B) Main Pool is too small and cluttered. C) Private pool villas or any other villa has no privacy as you can hear the minutest pin drops close by. D) There is no proper restaurant on-site and it’s basically in room dining where you need to preorder your breakfast a night before which isn’t convenient, further the breakfast selection isn’t vast and is extremely limited and vegetarian options are pretty much null & void. E) The Lunch/Dinner menu are pretty much limited options and not suited for vegetarians as such. The property is about 25-30 mins away from Central Ubud & the journey is not too convenient. This is a property meant for complete recluse and a complete connect with nature but that’s doesn’t cater to everyone especially families & this property is best suited for people looking to cut off from the world for a certain time period. Amazing concept excellent hospitality but loads of room for improvement and compatibility 😊 …
Stay for 1 night for birthday trip. The villa location was far from the Ubud or Tegalalang Center. However, I’ve seen the management prepare shuttle service to some places. Ya Kayangan Villa Ubud was surrounded by beautiful lush paddy fields and the villa atmosphere was very tranquil. Really recommended for honeymooners that seeking secluded place to stay. The staff was very helpful from check in, during my stay until check out. I was surprised that they made surprise birthday celebration while I enjoyed my floating breakfast. Thank you for the birthday cake and the celebration! The bedroom was cozy and romantic. Bathroom was semi outdoor. It was very dim light during night time, hence it added the romantic atmosphere. However, becareful of insects or perhaps reptile that can enter your bathroom/bedroom since the villas location around paddy fields and open to nature. I’ve found 2 insects that enter my bedroom and bathroom. I was happy with the poolside villas as unique and pretty. The room not much different with private pool villas, the differences are private pool villa have private pool and bath tub. The floating breakfast was free, and lots of menu choices. However, when it serve, I didn’t get salt/peppers, butter/jam for the bread. I thought maybe they will provide by request only? The management should improve the cleanliness around the pool, as I found many cobwebs on the lounger. Also, for the TV channels on the information book should be updated, not much TV channels that can be enjoyed as it was important since most of the time some people who too lazy to go outside will spend time to watch TV. The pencil to write down note was not hotel standard. I still can see the price of the pencil (Rp 1,500), the kind of pencils that we can buy at the stationary shops. I also found stains on the towel that put on the rack in the bathroom (looks like poo) and the staff gladly change my towel. One last suggestions, I drove car to the area, thethe enter and exit place to the area was only one way, while the surroundings was paddy fields, I was too afraid it there was another car coming from the other side, since it was full only for 1 way car. Maybe management should make a new way to enter/exit. Overall, I enjoyed the stay at Kayangan Villa Ubud. Thanks to Ibu Ririn at the Front Desk that always help me for any requests, join the birthday celebration and fond farewell upon check out. First class!…
All Bali has amazing hotels! BUT this one was over the top!! Our eyes couldn't understand the beauty they saw at the moment we stepped into the room hotel. The rice terrace was unbelievable, really breathtaking! The staff was really helpful and welcoming! The pool was just perfect! I wanted to stay more and cancel the next hotel but we couldn't get any refund for the next four nights, so we left sadly. YOGA is one of the staff, he is the best and we want to thank him!. The only thing I wouldn't recommand is to do massage there. They don't have a real spa, the women that came were not pro at all. And it was expensive! Thank you Kayangan for the magic ❤️
You can expect the best service at this place. They treat you like someone special and will help you with every request you have. The pool is amazing with an awesome view to the rice fields. The view from the rooms are also stunning. It was very clean and we felt super comfortable. The AC works very well and the bed feels like sleeping in a cloud. It's the perfect location to calm down. If you want to go to the city center there is a free shuttle from the hotel provided (at 11, 14 and 17). The Hotel provides also a lot of different activities, transports or spa treatments. The Restaurant is also really good. We would definitely come back!
