We were travelling north from Florida and seeking a B&B rather than an anonymous hotel for a night in Newton. Claudia made it all go so smoothly- from booking to paying to finding our way and when we arrived we couldn’t have been happier and...More

Would be so nice to see you for a week. I'll look forward to that--hope all in Florida and back across the pond goes well--looking forward to seeing you next year.

Booking and entry instructions were easy enough. The rooms were well appointed and the beds were comfortable. It’s a “shoes off” house which was nice because it contributed to the overall cleanliness of the place. The breakfast (served at 8am on weekdays and 9am on...More

Ok Jon-- I assume you arrived home safely as did your mom and should I be apologizing for the Sox winning the first game of the series? Thanks for the really thorough and informative review--hopefully help other travelers given the depth and breadth of your...More

We stayed at Claudia Jacob's, A Village B&B for one week and chose her B&B based on reviews and because only a few blocks walk to the MBTA, known as "the T". The Village B&B did not disappoint; and, in fact, surpassed our expectations in...More

About
Description
A Village B and B is a homestay B & B in the heart of Newton Highlands village, steps away from restaurants, craft and clothing stores and salons. It is a bustling village complete with commerce, and offers More the convenience of a great walkability score. The MBTA to Boston is steps away for access to downtown, sites, and the airport all while not needing a car. Our rooms are busiest during May through November, so reserve early beginning with the Boston Marathon. We are convenient to major routes such as the MA Turnpike, I-95 and Route 9. Great location for trips to Fenway Park, local colleges such as Boston College, Brandeis, LaSalle, and Mount Ida, not far from Babson and Olin colleges as well. Many of our guests come for workshops at Samadhi Yoga Center, the Jungian Institute, or Healing Arts in Watertown. We have rooms with private bathrooms and shared bath. Prices float accordingly. We offer a continental breakfast each morning with home made and bakery items as well as yogurt, cheese, fruits, and beverages, according to what is allowed for small B and Bs in our state. Less

You will want to contact the proprietor for rate information. I can tell you that this would be a wonderful option for visiting Wellesley. The Inn is just off Route 9 which is the main route through the Wellesley area.
