What a pleasant find this was. Our hosts Skip & Ruth were beyond wonderful. From the minute we got there they were there to greet us with warm smiles and welcoming arms. We stayed in the library room and the twin room - perfect for the bookworms in us all! We relaxed out in the yard, took walks, went into...

The Seagull Inn was fabulous, Ruth & Skip are great hosts and we were made very welcome and felt very much at home. Ruth & Skip were very helpful and provided us with some good advice with regard to places & sights to visit. Accommodation, food and generosity were very homely.

We stayed here over the long Memorial Day weekend. Ruth and Skip are very kind, helpful, and accommodating letting us change our stay to extend it by one night shortly before our arrival. The Seagull Inn is very clean, spacious, and all rooms are private with their own baths and fully stocked with amenities. It was still too cool for...

We drove into Marblehead and asked the lady at the Visitor Info Counter where to stay and she recommended this and a few other places. We drove to this one first and didn't get to see the others! We actually stayed here in June 2011 but I cannot forget this place..... The owners were lovely and we had the whole...

Rarely does one find a bed and breakfast that welcomes children. Much to our delight, Ruth and Skip, proprietors of the Seagull Inn on beautiful Marblehead Neck, were not only welcoming to our two young children, but they (literally) opened their toy boxes and made our children feel as welcome as we were--which is to say, as welcome as old...

We were greeted at the door by Ruth and Skip, the proprietors. They were very friendly and gracious. We stayed in the library suite and it was perfect for our needs. The room has a very nice (and large) bathroom attached to it. While not a very big suite, it was certainly very comfortable and had all the reading material...

This has become a habit. Over Christmas, we spend 6 days at the Seagull Inn in the Library Room, wrapped in a cocoon of down comforters, emerging for a walk, or to visit with family and friends in the area, or to share an evening with Skip and Ruth, then curling up again with one of the hundreds of books...

We cannot say enough about how awesome Ruth and Skip were during our stay. From the moment we walked through the front door, Ruth and Skip were very gracious and made us feel right at home. Ruth and Skip had a wealth of information and knowledge regarding Marblehead's history along with recommending sites to see around town and for day-trips...
