Went for a family wedding. Great location, convenient to all. This place was basic; tidy, clean, comfortable beds. Staff/owners were friendly and helpful. We had a large group (5 rooms). They happily accommodated our room requests. This place needs an update and the floors are mushy. But if you want an inexpensive place with clean sheets, for a night or... More

A no-frills motel, but a great price in an otherwise very pricey motel economy. No frills means NO frills, but there are plenty of cafes and coffee shops nearby. And you can walk to Guido's for organic foods.

Stayed in a room on first floor. Definite housekeeping issues...upon arrival there was no coffee in the room, the bathroom strongly smelled like urine/mold, the bathroom counter appeared to be clean but faucet was not. It had soap scum on it, as did the bathtub's faucet. The clock radio and telephone looked like they had not been wiped off in... More

Not my idea to book no amenities staff pleasant and helpful I thought floor boards in our room would break. Just an old time run down roadside motel if you like that kind of stuff. If you on a budget or really cheap a good choice otherwise go Else where

Although I was initially hesitant about having a room in a place so close to the highway, once we were inside with the door closed there was no noise at all. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, the room clean and nice. Considering the cost of other nearby places and the quality of other travelers' reviews of those places,... More

This is a bit of a quirky place! We needed someplace to stay for one night after attending a show at Tanglewood, and this was close and inexpensive. We stayed in a room with two double beds. It was adequate for the night but I don't think I'd want to stay for more than one night. It was sufficiently clean... More

As soon as we checked in, I looked around the room to make sure it was clean. The toilet had some reddish fluid spilled on it (blood? watery vomit?), a black curly hair, and dried drops of urine on the seat. I went to the office and the woman came in with Lysol and towels to clean the toilet. She... More

Clean but had a strange odor and everything was outdated and scarred. We shouldn't complain considering this was a very last minute find over a holiday and James Taylor weekend. Could have been much better, but could have been worse.

I was leery when we arrived because it's a motel on the main road but my daughter was supportive and after having to give all the info on my rental and drivers license and paying in advance I let it go. Bob assured me in 17 years never an issue. Clean. Didn't get to use the pool but big. Best... More
