Just back from 2 nights at Kripalu with friends. Expectations were pretty high but as soon as arrived we were disappointed. Very old catholic school building with no updates and no air conditioning. Food very disappointing. One morning class in tent that the floor was...More
We were so excited about this trip. Everyone we spoke to about it said it was so amazing and the food delicious. Our expectations were set high, how could everyone be saying this if it wasn't true?
We booked the R&R package, about $400.00 per...More
Kripalu is an attractive place, popular for its idyllic setting, with spare-but-comfortable accommodations, wholesome (if slightly uninteresting) food and mostly-friendly staff. It also offers interesting courses and some good instruction in yoga and related topics. Unfortunately, even in such an environment, it is possible to...More

I did not get the opportunity to do any of the healing arts services myself, but based on conversations at the time with other guests, the recommendation would be for the Shirodhara (Ayurvedic Relaxation Treatment).
I would think that any of the Ayurvedic treatments would be worth it as this is not something you will usually get at a typical spa.
Hope this helps.
Have an enjoyable stay!
