We have stayed at this motel several times in the past several years primarily for autumn foliage viewing, but have stayed there in summer and winter as well. It is one of a very few properties that will allow a large-sized dog (in designated "pet rooms".) The motel has declined significantly over recent years since it's main regional attraction -...

We stayed here one night only, arrived late and left early. Please bear this in mind when reading this review. Front desk staff were nice. Room adequate. Bed & bathroom very clean - everything working. Tea/ coffee facility in room. Unfortunately one corner of the room had a wet patch on the carpet and this gave off an unpleasant odour....

Stayed here over July 4th - every other place in the area had a 3-day minimum. Staff was shifty and very foreign. Room was outdated, bed was like a sponge with metal bars embedded in it. TV was a 18" from 1989. Water pressure was next to zero. BUT, it was remarkibly clean given the run down look of the...

This motel has all the basics, including a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. However, we felt trapped because the windows don't open and the fan doesn't give much ventilation. The weather was beautiful and only about 80 degrees for the high, but we had to use the air conditioning to keep from roasting in our room. The room-darkening...

This hotel is a throwback to the old days of motor lodges next to the highways, with sterile rooms, lacking upscale amenities, insufficient electrical outlets, nonexistent wireless internet (despite claims to the contrary) and a lack of ambiance. The pros: a quiet pool area, centrally located within the L shaped motel space, eager to please family proprietors, and availability, albeit...

The people there were friendly and polite. They showed us places and things to do around town since we were on vacation. Great stay

We chose the hotel because we got a good advance purchase rate, it had an outdoor pool and it seemed to have good ratings on the travel site we booked it through. However, the outdoor pool was not actually working and the room was so musty smelling we couldn't take after about 10 minutes. We turned right around and put...

Musty smelling, poor service, staff not helpful or friendly. Dirty railings on stairways, dirty towels. Tub drain SLOW. Would not stay here again - ever!

This gem in the heart of the Berkshires provides great value. It offers continental breakfast, a pool , and fitness room all for a very reasonable price. I have stayed at many inns in the Berkshires and most are priced much higher and offer less. They also allow guests to stay one night on the weekend when available which is...
