Recently stayed here for a Friday and Saturday night while visiting nearby friends. Bill and his staff are very friendly and helpful. April was so nice and eager to assist with any issue, or just chat. I stayed in the Owl room which is on the second floor, it is spacious, and the shower has excellent water pressure. It is...

The Simmons Homestead Inn is an incredibly charming place! I found the owner/innkeeper to be soooo courteous and helpful. He was always eager to offer directions and suggestions . The location is great , rooms are adorable , the staff was friendly and courteous. Bill and his small staff really try to make sure that each guest enjoys their stay at...

Bill was great - he was very helpful and a wonderful host --- Bill guided us in what to do and especially how to save $$$. We would highly recommend the Simmons Homestead - it is a quaint and charming colonial.

We just returned from a three night stay at the Simmons Homestead Inn. We were glad that we were able to bring our 2 large dogs with us as it is hard to find pet friendly lodging during high-season. We found Bill the Innkeeper/Owner to be very knowledgable about the area - he always had great recommendations on where to...

Bill was a warm and accommodating host throughout our stay. His mentality, every day, was "How can I make this a great trip for you?". Every morning he asked us about our plans for the day, and then he would give us advice on the best way to go about it. On more than a few occasions, we gave the...

Fun having you too. Don't want to make the place a gourmet deluxe inn. Want to make you feel at home and get to love the Cape like I do.

I really enjoy staying at unique places with a lot of personality and Simmons Homestead Inn provides just that. It is a charming place with a very helpful innkeeper and staff. I can understand how it may not be for all folks, but I really liked it. Bill and April, the evening staff person, are very helpful and friendly and...

Thanks, and we enjoyed having you here with us. And yes, the Inn is different and hopefully friendly and that way it is your Home on the Cape which is what we want it to be. You and all the guests are important and we want you to enjoy every minute both on the Cape and here at the Inn.

I had a few days to toy with between business commitments in Boston and decided to head out to the Cape. This B&B was great in that it was clean and well kept, welcoming, and centrally located if you want to explore the cape or the big islands (Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard). The innkeeper was helpful but not intrusive, had excellent...

Nice to hear from you and it was nice to have you come and relax and enjoy. This is what I want our guests to do. And thank you for 'defending' the Inn and the pets of both Bill and the guests. We try very hard to make time spent here relaxing and enjoyable. And ... do hoe you get...

This is my first review of a Cape B&B, and I'm doing so to help anyone avoid this place. We had a short stay at this B&B last summer and couldn't have been more disappointed. This was the worst B&B experience we have ever had, and believe me, we are not that picky. From the outside it's a typical quaint...

This is a tough one to respond to. And since it was a revue of a stay here last summer, I’m sorry I can’t remember the guests. Anyway as to cats and fleas and all. Because of allergies the cats aren’t allowed in the Main Inn building and the guest rooms in the Annex have a separate entrance and again...

We were lucky enough to get a room here on only two days notice. The Inn is almost 200 years old, which is a plus in our book, as we love historic properties. Bill's car collection (50+!), housed in Toad Hall, is a real treat to explore, and brought back great memories for my husband. The numerous friendly cats decorating...

What a cat lovers dream!!!!...30+ cuddle craving orange long-haired cuties roam about the grounds and congregate in the proprietors home adjacent. The rest of this B+B rang all the Cape Cod bells and blew all the Cape Cod whistles. Beautiful old home lovingly restored.Lovely relaxed and relaxing grounds to walkabout or just enjoy from the wrap-around era's past porch, cats...
