My husband and I had a room right on the front of the Inn. It was convenient, as we could park right outside our door - no elevators, flights of stairs to carry luggage and groceries up! The room was not large, but very clean, pretty and cozy. The view of Hyannis Harbor was beautiful, and we enjoyed relaxing in...

My husband and I wanted to get away overnight for our 20th anniversary, but didn't want to travel too far. We usually stay at one of the large chain hotels, but thought we'd try something small with personality. We drove an easy 75 minutes and spent the next 24 hours enjoying the quiet ambiance of Hyannis in the fall. Everything...

This was our first time to be on the cape during December. We researched and found the Anchor Inn. Its location is great. Just a short drive to the Black Cat. The hotel is very clean. Our room was on the second floor, 2 queen size beds, with a small balcony that looked over a small harbor where some of...

We had a great 3 night stay here. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was a welcome addition. We were not impressed when we first arrived in the dark, wet and disorientated and the staff were not very helpful. Luckily the service improved from then on.

The hotel is very neat and clean, and moderately close to the Hy-Line high-speed departure dock. The night clerk is very friendly and helpful with the latest in restaurant offerings in Hyannis, particularly in the off-season which is when we are usually there as we avoid the "Grey Lady" and its hordes in the summer.

We had a family party to attend and decided to stay at the Anchor-In because of its proximity and location on the harbor. What a delightful place to stay! The room and bath were meticulously clean, there was a refrigerator, coffeemaker, tv, and high chairs on the deck overlooking the harbor. Except for the freezing temps we would have loved...

I booked for the location. Wanted to be in Hyannis this time of the year. We love the town, restaurants etc. We were blown away by how beautiful our view was and how clean the whole place was and how welcoming and servicing the front desk was. The dining area was warm and cozy and beautifully decorated for Christmas. We...

This is a very nice motel but it is still a motel. A word to the wise. They do not have staff at the front desk 24 hr so make sure you get there before they close. The staff will also close off the kitchen area and you will not be able to use the microwave after a certain time....

Dear Justin Thank you for choosing the Anchor In. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the Osterville guest room over the Thanksging holiday. The 40 foot long deck is a mere 75 feet from the water. As part of our personal service communications when taking your phone reservation we requested your anticipated arrival time. We noted that you...

Island ferry boats were cancelled, so we were stranded in Hyannis. Where to stay? Anchor In is a 3-minute walk from the Steamship Authority ferries, so off we went and were we glad. Pleasant staff, clean/comfortable/well-appointed room and a continental breakfast that exceeds most others made our stay a welcome break from bad weather. Also noteworthy: the hotel is a...

I've stayed at the Anchor In several times and have consistently had enjoyable stays there. My most recent stay, however, was made even more enjoyable by one of the front desk agents, Janet. She could not have been more accommodating in making sure I had a comfortable room for my stay. As I spent time reading in the library, I...
