Hampton inn always feels like my home away from home (considering I live about 5 minutes down the road) but they never fail to excel in service! Breakfast is always my favorite and the only time I wake up early by choice. Making waffles just seems so much better in a hotel! Thank you for the great breakfast choices and the comfiest beds!!
We had not decided upon a place to stay so our reservation request was made at the last minute. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful in directing us to local restaurants. The room was very clean and exceptionally comfortable. I wished I had asked about the brand of mattress as it was so much better than mine at home. The grab and go breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The two gentlemen who served it were friendly and wanted to be sure we had enough of everything. A great nights sleep and a great experience.
Over a period of 10 years the stars are decreasing. I left my first 5 star review 6 years ago here on yelp. 4 years ago I left a 4 star review. I've been staying at this location for 10 yrs when I'm town for business. Now I'm a Hilton Brand fan. We stay at Hampton Inns all the time. I've seen this particular property decrease in professionalism, customer service and cleanliness. They are painting the outside with a really trendy color - good job. But it doesn't mean you don't vacuum the hallways for 3 days. Yikes come on guys. The hallways were obviously unkempt. The elevator was also in need of a sweeping and a mopping. The walls inside the elevator needing a good wipe down. Management - get your team and hold a briefing. You can't blame covid anymore for the lack of cleanliness. I get the fact that each location needs to be upgraded through the years. This isn't about upgrading - this is about caring and keeping the property clean.…
On 8/6 my family and I (total of 11 of us) missed our flights home to St. Louis after vacation in Portland, ME. We had to leave our AirBB that morning and had no where to stay for the night. We needed to rent 2 rooms for the family our size. Our new flights would not leave until the evening of 8/7. I am a police officer in St. Louis and Edmarei gave us several discounts to make the rooms more affordable in our time of need. We will never forget her generosity and kindness toward our family when we needed it most. To be clear this took place at the Hampton Inn at Haverhill,MA. Thank you again, Brian Coats and Family
Worst Hampton we’ve stayed at. Severe black mold in the bathroom. Bathroom ceiling was also all peeling. Entire room was a disappointment. Please whoever is managing this property address the black mold before anybody get severely ill. We ended up moving on to Hilton Boston/Woburn for the rest of our stay and was highly satisfied with this location.
We stayed several days at this Hampton Inn while attending to my sister's estate. This hotel provided us with an excellent location for the Haverhill and Methuen area. There are a good variety of near by restuarants and other services near this hotel. We had to extend our stay by one night, and the front desk handled our request with ease. We finished our business and had an excellent stay.
The staff at the Hampton Inn Haverhill Massachusetts provided excellent customer service. Associate Edmarie stood out during my stay, she was awesome at her job, professional, listening and communication skills were top notch, she even helped me find my cat Sadie, who is my best friend and an excellent hider in the room. Out of 5 stars, I give 10!!!!! Thank you!
Staff was excellent and very helpful. They went above and beyond to be helpful. I recommended is hotel to everyone who is in need of a safe hotel with extremely helpful staff. They all went above and beyond and I could never show how mich I appreciate and needed that level of kindness.
Mold covered most of the bathroom ceiling, dirt all over plug fixture, bathroom fan dial was broken and wouldn’t turn on, AC had pieces of broken crayons in it, AC unit wouldn’t work on high and on low it was extremely loud; smelt like it used to be a smoking room. The first room we were assigned, we were given a key into a room that had someone in it when we used it to go in.
Encountered a very rude front desk staff member upon arrival during the check in process on April 30th. Did not feel welcomed as I have in the past . Building and rooms need general maintenance and room was not as clean as it should have been. Although I had booked a one night stay , guests arriving after me were told it was now a minimum two night stay. I have never experienced that rule here before this year and have always stayed the same weekend in the past years. Front desk staff could not give me a straight answer as to when this becomes effective (dates) and why some were allowed a one night stay and others had to book two nights.
