There's only the Grafton Inn and this Captain Slocomb B&B to choose from here and they're walking distance from each other. There's no sign i could see but the gps led us to the door of a wonderful Victorian style mansion where we parked in the rear by the garage. We no sooner got out of the car than we...

My daughter and I had a lovely stay in the west room of this beautiful bed and breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a very large attached bathroom. The innkeeper Judy is very helpful and friendly. She went out of her way to help us find dinner when we arrived late without a car. The next night...

This was the third time we have stayed at the Captain Slocomb House for a visit with relatives nearby. As always, our room was cozy, not too spacious, just about right. This is a magnificent Victorian house. There are window a/c units which get the job done just fine (this was a summer visit). The breakfasts were what we have...

We recently spent two wonderful nights at the Captain Slocomb House and can't say enough about the warm welcome, first-class rooms, wonderful food, and ambience of this B&B. The Victorian era home is gorgeous. You will love the antiques and furnishings. Our bedroom and adjoining sitting room was very spacious, comfortable, and quiet, with all necessary amenities. The proprietor is...

I try not to keep writing 5 star reviews (not all are...) but this one is wonderful. We attempted to book a room at the Grafton Inn across the street, but it was full. They recommended a B&B nearby. Quick phone search turned this up - only about 3 doors away. Lovely restored 1800s home with very modern kitchen and...

This is the perfect place to stay just outside of Boston. We left Boston in the evening and stayed here to avoid morning rush-hour traffic when we headed home in the morning. The place was beautifully and lovingly remodeled, preserving its many Victorian details. The owner was friendly and helpful and made us fresh scones for breakfast along with fruit...

We stayed in the Captain Slocomb House for one night while attending a wedding that was held in a nearby town with the reception in a country club in Grafton that was only about a half a mile from the B&B. It was a thoroughly delightful experience. The house is a gorgeous mid-19th century mansion, impeccably maintained, beautifully decorated with...
