Gloucester Inn by the Sea is fabulous. Clean, quiet, relaxing. It blends hotel and B&B in all the best ways. We woke up at 5 am to take in the remarkable sunrise! You can walk along the rocky shore and fill your lungs with the ocean air. The Inn is peacefull - away from the busy downtown area. In just...

Our family stayed here while visiting Gloucester. The hotel is centrally located, fairly close to the town. Our room was basic, but clean. It did smell a little bit musty, but that could have been due to the weather (heavy rain all that day). The bathroom was small, but functional. Overall a decent room, with an incredible view!

Friendly, comfortable, beautiful view. Great view. Relaxing. Want to come back. Felt very welcombed. Exceptionally clean, quiet. Highly recommend it. Great price. Out of the way. Quit. Business is small but rooms were large.

Very small & quaint hotel. Beautiful views, plenty of chairs to sit on the lawn, by the pool or on the patio. Clean rooms, we stayed in room #2, comfortable bed, patio for sitting, visiting with other guests or sharing a glass of wine at sunset. Innkeepers very friendly & knowledgeable about area restaurants, sites and best roads to take...

I would love to keep this little gem to myself, but it's only fair that other travelers to Gloucester know of this great little hotel. My sister and I travel to New England at least once a year and have stayed at several other hotels over the past six or seven years, but this one will be our go-to from...

Stayed for one night at the end of September during the week so not many guests in the hotel, but the staff that was there was very attentive. The rooms are clean and fairly large. It rained in the evening I was there as well as the next day so could not enjoy the view, but it is right on...

Cute inn with lovely view of the ocean. But few of the basic amenities. Beds are awful ... hard, lumpy, noisy (how often do you say that about a mattress?) and covered in some sort of plasticky liner which is not conducive to sleep. Yuck. Room is cute (ours is shabby chic) but doesn't have a closet, a clock, a...

My go to place to relax and enjoy on the East coast. This is a beautiful inn right on Bass Rocks near Gloucester. They have 14 rooms and the place is immaculate. The owners are very friendly and attentive to details. All the staff is wonderful and try to assist you in whatever you need. The ocean calls you right...

The location is great. This is a motel with few amenities. There is an outdoor pool which looked inviting but to cold during our stay. The 'Inn' is not a B&B as listed we found a breakfast place nearby. The best attribute was the beauty of the area.
