Stayed here for work, needing something basic and knowing it would be far from 5 stars. I know staffing shortages are an issue right now but that didn't take the sting out of finding an old soap bar in the shower & food scraps on the floor under the desk. The beds were horrible with a hump in the middle of both queen beds in this particular room. The saving grace from this trip was Tammy at the front desk. She was exceedingly accommodating. When informed that the elevator was down she moved me to a first floor room (has a lot of equipment to bring in, all too big to bring up stairs alone). She was also very quick in finding an iron & board so I didn't look like a wrinkled mess the next day. She did all of this & accommodated other complaining guests with a smile and positive attitude. I don't know what they're paying her but I promise it isn't enough. It's a Motel 6 so I wasn't expecting much, but this was just enough to be disappointing even when grading on a curve. If it wasn't for the service it would have been a terrible experience.…
I booked a king room and was charged more for it!! I received a queen room and when I asked about it. I was told that they didn’t anything but queen on their property. I wasn’t informed of this until I checked in and was in my room. I asked for a refund and was told that the manager would be contacting me to address it!! No one reached out to me and when I went to the front desk no one was there to talk to. My next issue was the condition of the bed. It was thin and worn. The sheets had hair all over it!!! I had to go to Walmart and purchase cleaning solution, rags, and bedding because it was my only opinion after flying from Georgia to Massachusetts. It wasn’t a good experience but I made it through and learned a lesson. Spend the extra money!!!
Looks a bit rough on the outside, but the inside was great. We had everything we wanted ... 2 very comfortable queen beds, a refrigerator, a microwave and a hairdryer. Location was perfect for our stay. Our room faced away from the road and was very quiet.
I have stayed here previously and had a similarly terrible experience. In short, this place may be cheap for its proximity to Boston, but it's filled with sketchy people and the location is terrible in terms of noise. Definitely look for another place if you expect to get any sleep! I booked a multi-night stay. I was given room 119. Reject this room if they try to give it to you. It's very, very noisy! In addition to people parking right outside your window all night long, it's also the place where truckers on Worcester Road (Route 9) have to hit their brakes before the curve that is the I-90 (Mass Pike) on ramp. If you know anything about semi-truck air brakes, they are loud! I'm sure this problem is known to hotel staff and this is the way they treat multi-night guests. The hotel wasn't packed upon arrival as I was able to get a desirable parking spot, so WTH? - terrible! The room itself was typical Motel 6. Very basic furnishings that resemble a hospital room. TV worked fine. The WiFi is terrible and I had to use my phone's hotspot for reliable internet access. I will say that the room was very, very clean. Housekeeping does an exceptional job here. The other guests were quite sketchy. A young man asked the front desk staff where the security cameras were...and the front desk clerk actually pointed the location of every camera on the first floor out to the person! The same person was pushing on my door later that evening (no joke!) Tripadvisor denies the reality of racial experiences for people other than whites despite a so-called "right to write" policy (what BS!), so I guess we are effectively suppressed and I am limited in what I can say. I'll say that the first floor appears to be reserved for people identified as undesirable and there is a lot of noise, partying, and trouble there. There is the Dunkin across the parking lot, which is open late and fine. There is also an Indian restaurant next door in the other direction - small portions and does not give utensils, even upon request. The Hilton in Framingham is surprisingly affordable on many nights and is a MUCH better choice. Do not waste your money at this Motel 6. You won't get any sleep.…
Staff was very nice and helpful. We were in room 116. With the A/C running we had no hotel noise to hear. They told us about the large Stop and Shop that we could drive to 2-3 miles away. I liked this budget hotel with laminated wood floors that were clean (instead of carpeting that is hard to clean). The white bed linens and white bathroom towels were spotless. Some people expect luxury at a budget hotel. We did not and were happy with it for a stop prior to driving our rented moving truck into Boston the next day. Just so you are are not surprised, it does not have a Kleenex box, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer, shampoo, pool, or fitness center. It is just what we were looking for. It had a TV and our A/C functioned well. There was plenty of room in the side parking lot for our 16 foot moving truck with car tow trailer.…
My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at motel 6. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the motel itself was SO CLEAN. Props to the housekeeping staff - the place was spotless from the front door to our room. There wasn’t a hair dryer or shampoo/conditioner, and there wasn’t really anywhere around to buy any, so keep that in mind. It’s a great cheap option to lay your head and I would definitely stay again!
For the price, it was fine. Conveniently located in the highway. A nice Dunkin Donuts a few feet away. If you just need a room to rest your head at night, I guess this is the place. No fridge tho. But good cable TV.
Husband & wife and our daughter stayed for 1 night. It has become standard in the hospitality industry to put two full-size beds in double occupancy rooms - they are tighter than queens and is a real issue for us. Even though we needed to be near Natick and there were several 3 star hotels in the immediate Natick area, none offered rooms with two queen beds, which used to be standard feature in the past. We chose Motel 6 because they had queen beds and the windows opened more than 5 inches - another new restriction most hotels now impose. The room exceeded our expectations from this relatively inexpensive hotel. The room overlooking the back was quiet, the hardwood floors clean, adequate space, quiet heating system, windows one could open all the way, free wi-fi, genuinely helpful receptionist on the phone as well as in person, all left a very positive impression for a very good (budget) price. The mattress was not overly soft (who wants to sink into the bed??), just the right firmness, and quite comfortable. It is a pet friendly hotel but they will assign you another room if you hear a dog barking in the vicinity. The accommodations are basic. We don't care whether the room chairs are plush or not, or whether the towels are soft or not. Those are optional frills. Comfortable basic mattresses that can support the body well, openable windows and cleanliness are the essentials we seek in a hotel. For those, it was the right decision.…
Couple things. I travel quite a bit and know the difference between a budget hotel that could use a coat of paint, and a hotel that simply doesn’t care about their guest safety. This hotel doesn’t care about safety in any regard. The little things like having employees in the lobby and having secure doors or elevators- none of that is done. The parking lot is so bad you’ll be surprised when you go out in the morning and nothing is wrong with your car. I’m serious. It’s that bad. And this hotel is not in an unsafe area. The smell of the hotel is an interesting combination of cat urine, cigarette and marijuana smoke and it intensifies overnight. Everything you own will smell like that. I stayed 2 nights and housekeeping was non existent. I think I have stayed 1 or 2 places that were worse than this hotel, but probably not. It’s scary bad.…
The rooms are spare and feel like college dorm rooms. No frills: a small bathroom with thin towels, a bed a night stand, basic lighting and a tv - that's it. No clock radio, no coffeemaker or microwave (our room did have a fridge but that's apparently atypical), but for the price it's clean and comfortable enough (save for guy next door who was puking his guts up one night!). The wall mount heater/ac is noisy as hell and there's no fitness center or any frills (besides coffee in the lobby, and vending machines on each floor) but there is a Dunkin Donuts next door and the staff is friendly. All in all, for the price you can't go wrong. Helpful hint: Make sure you get a room with an even number so you're in the back of the motel and not facing the street/highway, which is loud in the morning.…
