This is the cutest little place. The rooms are a little on the small size but makes up for it in the cuteness factor and cleanliness The floors are hardwood and has a Jacuzzi tub. The temps were in the 60's at night and we were able to open up the windows. It also had a gas fireplace for that... More

Only stayed there one night, but I would definitely go back. Check in was smooth and simple. Cindy made me LAUGH!! What a treat she was! There were lots of maps and info booklets in the office, too. Room was fine. Very big and clean. Had a bit of a weird smell, but that wasn't a big deal. The hotel... More

The Red Horse Inn is a small quaint adorable place. If you want to take the ferry to Martha's Vinyard, this is the place to stay. They sell discounted ferry tickets and it is only a quick 5 minute walk to the ferry. Even better, they allowed us to leave our car at the hotel so we avoided a parking... More

Inns/hotels run the gamut in the Falmouth area, with some less than stellar ones and hipster-trendy expensive. Red Horse is not swank, nor is it expensive - it's clean, pleasant, quiet, and convenient to main street Falmouth and its restaurants and shops if you don't mind a 15 min walk (I don't, I like a nice walk before and after... We arrived late last night after a long drive and the manager was extremely friendly and helpful with a restaurant recommendation for a nice place suitable for kids. We checked into our room and were thrilled with how clean it was! This hotel could give seminars in cleanliness! Room decor is white and there is not a speck of dirt... More

The Red Horse Inn is a simple clean motel. Well kept grounds. Easy parking. We were even able to leave our car there instead of having to pay for parking at the ferry. They have discount ferry tickets. Cindy the innkeeper couldn't have been nicer. Our son said the breakfast was ok. Some gluten free breakfast options would of be... More

I booked this room on Booking.com from Marthas Vineyard. I have to say Innkeeper left a message on my phone telling me the TV did not work. I did not get the message and was told when I arrived. Innkeeper gave me the option of cancelling the room but it was late, and I was hot and hungry so I... More

Hey Paula, sorry that you choose not stay with us again! It's all good, there are several nice Inns/hotels in the area so I am sure you will find something to your liking. I did leave a message on your phone in reference to the TV and you told me on arrival "I didn't recognize the number so I didn't... More

As always Cindy runs an excellent facility. The rooms are cute -- I have a fondness for either of the two upstairs on the end -- and clean. The manager, Cindy, is friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to town.

Quaint smaller inn right across street from Island Queen Ferry parking. Save the $$ and leave the car at the inn. Cindy also sells ferry and beach tickets to ease your stay. Clean, quiet with a lovely complimentary light bkft of bagels, muffins, juice, coffee/tea , cereals and oatmeal avail in "the Barn" out back. Also ice avail to top... More

... Also walking distance to the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. It is managed by a very nice lady named Cindy, and it has a free continental breakfast. Nothing fancy. But the place is very reasonably priced. Definitely worth considering if you're on a budget.
