This was our second stay at the Palmer. Bill and Pat are lovely hosts and are genuinely interested in making your visit a great experience in Falmouth. The staff is excellent and abundant. Breakfast was delicious, (first day - chilled wild blueberry soup followed by perfectly prepared scrambled eggs with herbs and cheese and a delicious blueberry muffin; and, second... More

Dear Marlene R., Your review was wonderful. Each winter we choose a room to redesign. We think that room four is due for a makeover this year. Last year we redesigned the dining room, Kitchen and the hallways. We look forward to your next visit. Always, Bill & Pat More

Right next to the green and the historical society. This inn is a perfect retreat. Rooms are roomy and luxurious. Service is perfect. You won't regret it. We were exploring family genealogy and will be back. Great dining options and beaches nearby.

Dear Sarah P, Yes, The Palmer House is just two doors away from Falmouth Historical Societie's Museums on the Green. The Society is completing the restoration of the Conant House that will house the town's archives. The opening will be in October and with the increased interest in genealogy these days, this is a great place to do research. We... More

The place itself is very cute And very well kept. It's right down the street from the main street that has several shops and restaurants. The employees are all very respectful and nice. The breakfast was amazing, fresh, and decent portions. Overall I have no complaints and definitely recommend it.

My trip to Falmouth to give a talk at Museums on the Green was transformed into a delightful vacation, thanks to my stay at the nearby Palmer House Inn. Bill and Pat were fine hosts, breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious, and my room was luxurious in every way. I have stayed at many inns in the United States and... More

We stay in the Thoreau Cottage at the back of the Inn a couple of times a year for a few days, and it is great to be able to bring our dog along where the accommodations are spotless. Bill and Pat are gracious hosts, and go above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. The Palmer House Inn is... More

After years of reading about and eye-balling the Inn off the Falmouth green, we stayed at the Inn's Thoreau Cottage. We required a pet-friendly environment and were delighted with the accommodations. Our dog picked a spot to lie down in the spacious cottage and found ample "new sights and smells" on the Inn's impeccably manicured property. I'm an early-riser and... More

Dear Pamela V, Many thanks for the fantastic review. In years past we used to enjoy traveling with our dog, however, we found that the dog friendly rooms in most accommodations were sub- standard. We are happy that we have the "Dog Friendly" cottage at the Palmer House Inn. We did not scrimp when designing it. It is our most... More

My husband and I drove from Manhattan to Cape Cod for one a night's stay before we took the auto ferry to Martha's Vineyard and booked our stay at The Palmer House Inn. We were greeted with cookies and apple cider and a smile and were shown around the impeccable inn and then brought to our guest cottage. We'd organized... More

This was a cute place, even in the frozen winter. Very friendly staff and breakfast was really tasty. We stayed in a room in the second house next to the main house - our room was great, with a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. Enjoyed sitting in the parlor relaxing and playing games, enjoying the fire as well. We would... More

We came here once and stayed in the Henry James suite as a young married couple and never forgot the comfort, peace and beauty of the place. 10 years and 2 kids later, our first romantic getaway sans kiddos was spent right here, in the same room. With a warm welcome from the owners and lovely Mary, we went back... More
