This was our second visit, and as excellent as the first one..........this is a very friendly B&B, perfectly situated for us near Nauset Beach, Orleans. The inn-keepers Peter and Denise are delightful and even helped set up an emergency dental appointment for our daughter ! Our room had been redecorated since our last visit and was light and airy. We...

We've only been to Cape Cod once before and like most places you imagine from old songs, books, etc. it's often less than you expect. Not so with the Ship's Knees Inn. It's quiet, close to the beach and beautifully run. We stayed four nights in the first floor suite and could not have been more satisfied. It's a buffet...

We decided to take a quick trip to the Cape to feel like we have had some Summer festivities and luckily we were able to score a room at the Ship's Knees. It's been a while since we visited and we were a little apprehensive because things just never stay the same. We were happily relieved that the Butchers are...

The Ships Knees Inn is always booked so we gave it a try. Great location, nice folks... It is a very old inn and although rooms have been renovated it is getting tired. Rooms are very small, beds are very uncomfortable. The grounds are lovely but are getting overgrown. Looks like little maintenance is being done. An ok inn for...

Having spent a good part of my early years growing up on the Cape I decided to take my wife to see and enjoy where it all started This Inn was a recommendation of a friend and it was spot on When you only have four days you better be central to what you want to accomplish P'town, Cahoun's Hollow,...

The old sea captain's home is a wonderful place to stay. It is immaculate and the grounds are pure New England from the swimming pool on a bluff to the Adirondack chairs that encircle the gas fire pit. The staff are friendly and knowledgable about all Cape Cod attractions and are helpful, polite, and efficient. Breakfasts are fresh and flavorful...

Delightful and quaint. This hotel or in offers lovely rooms which are very comfortable with air conditioning which was a godsend given the temperature when we were staying here. It's very close to the beach and if you're very lazy there's a lovely pool where we swim every night. With your biking driving or walking there's plenty of places that...

This inn is the real deal: old Cape charm, interesting layout, fantastic breakfast on a relaxing patio, beautiful landscaping, a very nice pool, and clean, comfortable rooms. We loved the location just steps away from Nauset Beach, and the owners are friendly and accessible.

Excellent base to visit Cape Cod and the owners and staff were very helpful when seeking advice for what to do/where to go etc. Chairs and towels for the beach are available to borrow. Highly recommended and the breakfasts are something special!

We usually rent a house when we stay in Orleans, but with the kids now gone we decided to try an inn. Have driven by the Ship's Knees many times over the years and never gave it much thought. We were very surprised how nice the rooms were and how lovely the grounds were. The inn has a great pool,...
