We were pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. The furniture and amenities were fine. Our goal was to save money on the hotel and stay out having fun most of the time. When we were in our room the chairs were comfortable after a long day of walking and the bed was comfortable too. Although it is not...

I chose this hotel when my daughter got married because it was close to town and inexpensive compared to the other places nearby. I wanted a place to house a lot of relatives conveniently. I rented "the apartment" which has a full eat in kitchen, very large living room with pull out sofa, and dining area. There is a large...

Pros: Near the lake and the Main Street. The cleaning staff was helpful and friendly. Cons: The pool was closed the whole time that we were there (Tue-Sat). The room was sparsely decorated and the tv was small. There was a handful of spice (looked like black pepper corn in the towels). The receptionist shouted at us outside our room...

I have stayed in the Chatham Highlander about 4 or 5 times in the last 4 years. The staff is pleasant and helpful, the rooms are large and clean, and the location is very convenient to all Chatham locations. If you like to walk, Main Street Chatham is definitely walkable, and I often walk to the Lighthouse Beach. It may...

We were able to check in early. The room was spotless, the beds comfortable and the water pressure was great. The staff was helpful and polite. The location was good but the town center is not in walking distance-at least not for us!

First time staying here and quite impressed. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff were pleasant and quite efficient. Our room was always clean and well stocked with towels and cosmetics. Well within walking distance of Oyster Pond and downtown Chatham. For those who love to walk, try walking to Lighthouse Beach, Bridge Street and Stage Harbor Road,...

The Chatham Highlander was very clean and very reasonably priced. My family enjoyed their time there and cannot wait to go back. Everyone who worked there was very kind and helpful. The manager gave great tips and even helped us make reservations at local restaurants. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed here for the first time and chose this accommodation due to the positive TA reviews. This was an OK stay except for some issues. It is, as reviewed, clean and specious with good water pressure. I guess when it was reported to be within walking distance of activities that depends on your age and physical condition. The CVS...

My family and I have stayed at the Highlander for the past 5 summers. The reason we stay is its clean and in a good location. Other than that, this is your typical motorlodge. In any other location you'd pay $50/night. During the first couple years, we enjoyed our stay--it was clean and reasonably priced for Chatham ($200/night). The past...
