My boyfriend and I stayed at the Birds Nest last week for a couple days and had a wonderful time. I had previously read rave reviews about the breakfast which they lived up to. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a home away from home feeling and delicious food with great recommendations. Shelburne falls, where the BnB is...

I'll be back! Cyndy and her Mom Pat were wonderful hosts, the house is very cool with a firepit in the back. Great local food for breakfast and home made snacks during the day. Can't wait to stay next time I go mountain biking at Thunder Mountain.

My dad and I had the fortune of randomly finding this place while planning a last minute trip to do some white water kayaking. Cindy and her mother were amazing hosts and we enjoyed getting to know them. :) They offered us a late night snack and drink when we came in and the next day prepared one of the...

The place is very charming. It's a beautiful over 200+ year old home filled with art and antiques. We were staying for a bike race at Berkshire East. When we arrived we were greeted by Cindy (the homeowner) and Yoda her adorable rescue dog. She showed us around the home gave us delicious baked goods and excellent suggestions for where...

If you love a true Bed & Breakfast, with all of the charm, service and comfort, this is the place for you. Rarely do I fall in love with a place I visit but this B&B really got to me. From the eclectic/period decor to the GOURMET breakfasts to the beautiful grounds. I loved it all. Even the owners are...

My wife and I spent a week here last year and were extremely pleased with the ambiance of the inn and especially the breakfast. Cindy, Dennis and Pat are great folks and the breakfast was to die for. The birds nest omelet was the best omelet I have ever eaten. There is plenty to do here and Cyndy has many...

We had a wonderful experience at the Bird's Nest. Cindy was a wonderful host and a great cook. The breakfast was exactly what you expected a homey country breakfast would be. She even accommodated my diabetic needs. Her mom made a yummy sugar-free rhubarb jam for me. We stayed in the room with a full-size bed and a single bed...

My mom and I called last minute to book a room in December and were easily accommodated, I was surprised to see how homey it was, considering it was my first time ever staying at any B&B so I wasn't sure what to expect. The room was comfortable and warm; anything we could need was there or available upon request....

a quiet place to sit back, relax and enjoy the view. The beds were so comfortable. The rooms had all of the small commodities that a hotel would have, but better; name brand products that you would actually want to use. Cyndi will ask you when you want to have breakfast, and is sensitive to any allergies or preferences. She...

My husband and I recently stayed at the Bird's Nest B&B to celebrate his 40th birthday with a weekend of skiing. We stayed in the Hummingbird Suite with it's own private bathroom. The full size bed was so comfortable. Pat, Cindy, and Dennis were so wonderful. It was so nice sitting down with them and getting to know them. The...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Built in 1797 the Bird's Nest B & B exudes an ambiance of elegance and simplicity. As a 200-year-old home, it's architecture reflects the area and personality of all who have lived and cared for the homestead for the last two centuries. Quilts, rugs, pottery, furniture, sculpture and paintings created by a family of artists and artisans can be found throughout the home, as well as a medley of family heirlooms, antiques and collectibles. We serve a full breakfast with fresh fruit, home baked muffins(or scones or bread) along with a main course such as eggs benedict. ... more   less
