          You've got to really study the campground maps and try to pick a site that isn't close to others. If it overlooks one of the lakes, so much the better.

          From the map pictures it appears that the park extends down to the bay, is there beach access from the park, that if your a registered camper you don't have to pay extra to get on? Are you allowed to launch you own paddleboards / kayaks there into the bay there?

          You need to buy a beach pass for any of the Brewster beaches from the Brewster town office. Your Nickerson camping tag does not allow you to park in the lot at Crosby Landing or any of the Brewster beaches. Crosby Landing is... More

          Are there dish-washing stations or water hookups in the pop-up tent sites. Forgive me, I am a newbie to camping and don't know what to expect in terms of facilities.

          stayed in area 4 and there is a dishwashing station outside the bathroom (newer one)
