Stay here and you are close to everything. Provincetown is only 30 - 40 minutes away. Hyannis, the beaches of Chatham, and Nickerson State Park are all only minutes away. There is a cool bike path that runs for miles and is easily accessed while at the RV park. The grounds are well kept. Everything worked well. The staff was...

Lovely campground with large sites for tent or RV. Immaculate bathrooms and showers that were cleaned twice daily.. Outside sink with counter for washing dishes included separate hot and cold faucets with a sign: please feel free to take hot water back to your site. There was also running cold water (faucet) at each site making it convenient to rinse...

We always visit Cape Cod after Labor Day to miss the crowds. We spent a week at Shady Knoll in a full hookup site. Our site was shaded by the many trees at this campground and was nice and level. Taking a walk through the campground revealed that almost all of the sites were level and nicely shaded. The bathrooms...

We were a group of 20 bikers staying for 5 nights. The staff was extremely helpful; specifically Melinda - she went out of her way to accommodate our group. The sites were very nice; each with water. The bathrooms were immaculate - the group made several comments on how clean the showers were; wonderful hot water; privacy, etc. We were...

I spent 5 nights at Shady Knoll in September. Small campground, nice, quiet. Wooded individual sites. Super clean bathroom and showers. There is no pool and I didn't see a rec hall, but we were there to see Cape Cod. Free wifi. Full hooks ups include cable TV. The only negative was the laundry situation. The machines only take quarters...

My husband and I were very fortunate to camp here over a seven day holiday W/E. Besides the location, we enjoyed the peace/privacy and quietness that the shady trees provided on most of the sites. The restrooms and showers were extremely well maintained. David, the owner, and Emily his daughter along with the other staff members, including the "work camper"...

We chose this campground because of its reviews. I'm glad we did because we truly enjoyed our stay. The location is great . It's close to most of the Capes attractions. The bathrooms and showers were always clean. The site we had was close to others as all campgrounds are, but the amount of shrubs made the site semi private...

We made reservations a year ago with required deposit. Upon arrival/check in this year we were "greeted" with a very large price increase. We had no notification of the increase prior to our arrival. Initially there was no willingness to adjust the price but about an hour later the general manager came to our site and offered a 10% discount....

ShadyKnollCampground, General Manager at Shady Knoll Campground, responded to this review

We apologize again for the confusion regarding the price increase. All of our staff are asked to please inform the customer making a reservation a year in advance that the prices are subject to change as we rarely set our rates for next season before we have finished the current season. We're sorry this was not explained to you at...
