All the bad reviews had me panicking!! I purchased through another site and it doesn’t tell you the hotel until after you book. After I purchased I got the hotel name and checked the reviews.. I wanted to cancel! But no refunds. Honestly I don’t know why they have such bad reviews. It doesn’t smell like cigarettes in the rooms and it’s not rundown looking. There wasn’t piles of garbage in the halls.. front desk was friendly. Room smelled good and it was clean. Got a good price and locations close to the highway. Very happy with this stay.
The first push-back I encountered was when I called ahead and tried to reserve a room when I was served up my first portion of lies on a golden platter. When I checked in around 8:30 PM, Brianna at the Front Desk told me I was the only person to check in all day. I asked if I could have a room with no one on either side. She told me that Room 433 had been selected by "management" earlier in the day. When I looked at the registration information, room 433 had already been pre-printed in the upper right hand corner prior to checking in. I had also requested a room with a view of the parking lot. When I went up to the fourth floor, my room was on the outside with a view of the adjacent woods. I could tell by voices as well as flushing that there were guests on both sides. I took a shower in the wee hours of the morning only to stand in inches of water (see photo) minutes later. Lastly, when I went to hook up my ordered in, tasty pizza from Uno, the microwave didn't work. I was given the offer of going to an empty room downstairs to heat up my pizza. NO APOLOGY, credit or partial refund when I check out shortly before noon. Merely a dumb, blank stare. Although the bed was acceptable, I was very disappointed by my overall experience in the Braintree hotel where I had lived for two months in the summer of 2021.…
We couldn't find a hotel in Braintree on vacation. Then we found this one still had rooms, and it had good ratings online, so we booked it. When we got there, we noticed right away that the place looked run down. The walls, ceilings and carpeting were in poor shape and looked dirty in places. There were nasty smells in places. The furniture in our room looked worn, the TV had a poor signal, and there was mold growing in the bathroom. Paint was peeling off of the ceiling in the kitchen (see picture). The only positive thing about this place was that it had a laundromat. Other than that, our experience there was horrible.
Stayed night of September 18. Could not have been worse. Hotel is dirty, worn out and not worth the price, any price. Returned with bug bites, guests were loud and drinking outside. Trash was piled at the end of our corridor and the hotel threatened to bill you additional if you didn't strip the awful beds. This place is barely safe. My simple advice--stay clear of this place, stay any other place.
This place was just awful. It started with the littered, dirty parkinglot and unfriendly staff. The whole place was incredibly dirty. Our room lack many things we needed from a kitchinette including sharp knives, salt and pepper, and a bowl to cook in (for oatmeal). I have a super long list. The worst I think were the glass that had been put away broken that I cut my hand on and the pan that had been put away without being cleaned. This was especially offensive since we get hotels with kitches because my son has food allergies. Do not stay here! it is not worth the price. The site had said it was a new hotel but it is actually a very old Candlewood in with a new sign. If you do choose to stay know that it is slightly better than a knights inn and is compareable to a very dirty and old red roof inn.…
