0 stars and I will also be making other review posts about this and also contacting booking.com /BBB(better business bureau)……… on booking this hotel online, it promised free Breakfast(false). Then I was hit with a surprise fee an extra 50$ for arriving at the time I was able to book online just a mere 2 hours short of check in time. Kindly Requested a room in the first floor closer to the pool(I have a disabilty and use a knee brace) NOPE….we were placed on the very last floor mid hallway……mind you The hotel was completely EMPTY- most rooms vacant (shades were all open) Found out There were NO vending machines working, there was an EMPTY/non working water bubbler in the exercise room. When I asked at the reception for some water or if anything worked the lady pointed me to walk to other side of the road?! While I was in a bathing suit, after I pointed out that was ridiculous……….. lady pulls out the key to the “non-working” vending machine and sells the hot waters at 3$ a piece. There is only 1 working ice machine, when all the hallways still have signs on the wall pointing ice machines /vending machines on every floor. Oh……… now let’s talk about the filth. Bathroom ceiling has lots of visible mold, the bathtub not only was stained /dirty but a dangerous hazard being so slippery (slimey and yellow- gross)Carpets in my room were dirty. The Carpets were also all stained near the pool. Pool was clean but freezing, and also the water level was way below it should have been……. There are no usb entrances on the tv in the room…..very OUTDATED, sheets, bathroom linens, curtains were all very stained yellow(old). Oh!….. then there’s more received the RUDEST CALL from the front desk interrogating me on why we had our window open and that we would be charged an extra 250$ because of smoking(1.we don’t smoke, 2, the air coming out of the Heater was colder than the Fresh breeze from outside, 3. plus the scare of having seen the mold of the bathroom ceiling) when I gave the front person this response he comes at me with “I’m not talking about the mold nor do I care I only called because I care about the window open and if there will be a charge for smoking” I offered them to come into the room at that point and told him to stop accusing………. So disrespectful - I’ve regretted every penny spent.

LOVED my stay at the Bedford Plaza Hotel!!! Great service. Front desk staff, Jenny, was kind & extremely helpful. The pool is lovely and there is a beautiful indoor balcony where you can look out & see the rest of the hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable, & you could not beat the price. Also, the area was very nice & quiet, which was exactly what my husband & I needed. There is a very clean and well staffed McDonald's right next door. Overall a great experience & I know where I will be staying next time I visit the Boston area :)

I was going up for a weekend trip in Boston and only needed this hotel for one night. It seemed as if this was decent hotel considering the prices today. And don't get me wrong it was. The rooms looked/were clean which is a top priority; however it could use an update on its retroness. As I was driving up, the woman called several times asking when I'd be there and I told her not till later. Then, I entered through the underground garage. When I went to check-in, the woman wasn't even there. It was a different worker. In the morning no one was present to check out and it felt odd leaving the key, even though they told you to do so. Overall, this place is good for a one night sleeping area.

If they have zero or NEGATIVE star I would do that. It's my worst nightmare staying here. I booked the room for 4 nights. I called the front desk before I booked, asked her about the room. She's really nice so I decided to book. First night was okay. Second night I went to the pool and a front desk guy asked me do I have a boyfriend even I told him yes I do, he said "not in this hotel, he will make it happen" I wasn't comfortable with that and I went back to my room. At 9PM He called me through the hotel phone in my room. He told me he doesn't care if I have a boyfriend. He told me it's really hurt his heart that I have a WHITE boyfriend. Then he said he will marry me! He said he wants me! AT 9 PM! Where is my privacy? I was by myself and shaking didn't know what to do. I just blocked my door and try to sleep. In the morning I talked to the manager name Sal. Told him what happened and let him know I am not comfortable staying here. He said he can't make everybody happy. He said "it's not my fault, you can go book the new hotel but I will not pay or response for the new hotel". I was shocked so I went to the BFPD. The police man went to the hotel with me and deal with them for me. If you're traveling by yourself DO NOT STAY HERE! Even the police officers tell, they told me this place is crap!! Don't stay here.

Stayed here for 25 nights and for the most part it was okay. However, bring your own towels as most of what they put in the rooms are going to have stains. Also, be prepared to deal with guests smoking illegal substances outside the front doors on a regular basis. Doesn't stop there either. On several nights/early mornings, a car alarm kept going off for hours. Can only assume the car belongs to a hotel staffer as it never moved from the parking spot. Other issues cane up and when you call the front desk, the call is transferred because nobody is manning the front counter. So you get what you paid for and in this case, be warned...spend the extra $10 a night and find a more reputable hotel

Do NOT stay here!! We booked our reservation a week in advance and called the hotel 3 TIMES the day of our stay to confirm our arrival. When we showed up, our room was given to other people, who were not even in the system, so NOBODY knows how they got in there! The hotel wouldn’t kick them out, and then tried to give us a room that someone had clearly been LIVING IN!! Laundry everywhere, food all over the place, a charger plugged in, etc. We waited 2 hours before being forced to drive back home at 1:30 in the morning. Oh, and I forgot to mention that we live 6 HOURS AWAY! I wish I could give this hotel a ZERO star rating for the way we were treated. I honestly could go on and on about this horrid experience. Just appalling.

I am sorry that you were given a room that someone was already "living in" as you said, it was clearly a mistake on our front desk part, and I do apologize for that, however we apologized immediately and offered to change your room to accommodate you. It was an honest mistake as we do get busy during this season. Thank you for your understanding.

This hotel rejected us despite having a reservation. Upon our arrival, the manager at the front desk was scrambling because they had an "unregistered" and "unknown" guest in the room they had ready for us. We were forced to wait 2 hours before she told us that the hotel was unable to accommodate us. The irony is that I called the property 3 times throughout the day, the last call being 30 minutes before my arrival, and spoke to 2 different front desk attendants-- who both assured me that my room was ready despite me checking-in late. We ended up leaving the property at 2AM to head back home much earlier than desired... which was 6.5 hours away.

I made my reservation through Trip Advisor and received 2 emails confirmation, one from Trip Advisor and one from the hotel. When I arrived after a long flight at 1am, the manager informed me that there was a mistake and that they did not have any room available. After I insisted, he agreed to give me someone else room that did not show up yet. Rooms are super outdated, there is a weird swimming pool in the middle of the hotel. Before leaving the hotel I asked the front desk for a receipt. Since the manager was at the front desk and I was the first in line, I ordered my Uber, thinking that it should not take more than 5 minutes. Just when I was about to ask for the receipt, the front desk manager left saying, "I need to do something". 5 min later he was still gone and my Uber was in time. I had to jump in the Uber to arrive in time at my meeting so left a note asking to send my receipt by email. I never got it. I sent 2 more emails without any response.

I stayed at this hotel last month for a few days. It is an ok hotel if you need a place to sleep in for a night or two. Forget about the free amenities as the wifi is weak and the free breakfast did not offer hot food such as bacon, sausage or scrambled eggs. The food that was served did not look appetizing as it did not look fresh. This hotel needs a major renovation and a major revamp in the quality of service. The carpets in the hallways are filthy and smelled like you're in an old house. There's constantly a loud noise of doors banging late at night when hotel housekeeping or maintenance workers move things in and out of the storage rooms. Also, I have seen a staff worker sleeping on one of the hotel's couches which is not good for guests to see.
