We enjoyed our very first stay at a bed and breakfast...for our 15th wedding anniversary. The innkeeper had a small bottle of bubbly and some chocolates waiting in our room for us - very classy. The experience was totally relaxing. We enjoyed the "children over 12 only" policy as we were sneaking away from our own child to enjoy adult...

My fiancé and I stayed here over Memorial Day Weekend and could not have had a better experience. Richard and Virginia are excellent, attentive hosts and not at all intrusive. They gave great local directions when needed and were on point with their recommendation for local restaurants (Dutch's at Silver Tree lives up to the hype). The 3 breakfasts we...

The Deep Creek Lake area and the Carmel Cove Inn were both beautiful. We had a wonderful 5-yr anniversary weekend. Our room was small (#3), but we felt it was a great room b/c it was in the back hallway, away from the common area and the breakfast area. The entire place and property were beautiful. The breakfast and snacks...

We just spent the weekend at Carmel Cove in Deep Creek. What a lovely inn!! The place is immaculate and the rooms are cozy and inviting. The common areas were comfortable and interesting...they have games, pool, complimentary beverages (water,, beer, wine). Outside recreation includes bikes, fishing, paddle boating, tennis, canoes. We had a fire every night with the other guests...

My husband and I spent our 5th anniversary weekend at Carmel Cove this past weekend and it was so much more than I expected!! I read such wonderful reviews but it surpassed both of our expectations. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was so relaxing and pleasant, and the place was beautiful!! We will definitely be back!

My husband Steve and I stayed at the Carmel Cove Inn April 23-25! Fantastic, inviting, warm, cozy. I could go on and on. This was our 1st trip to Deep Creek and our 1st time staying at a B&B! Carmel Cove Inn was perfect. Breakfast was amazing! Richard and Virginia were great! Lovely people! Could not have done more to...

We really enjoyed our stay. The innkeepers were friendly but not overbearing and the crowd was a nice mix of older and younger couples. We enjoyed the extra touches like cava to celebrate my birthday, the wine and cheese at happy hour time, and the comfortable common room. The breakfasts were really good too! (You get what you pay for,...

Had a group of 4 out to ski at Wisp this weekend, and were looking for a great place with some charm to stay at nearby. I knew nothing of the area, so naturally took to TripAdvisor. Glad I did! Carmel Cove is about a 15 min drive from the slopes (give or take...depending on the road conditions from the...

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your kind words. We found that the tv in your room had been inadvertently plugged into an outlet intended for the lamp and controlled by a wall switch. Very sorry it was malfunctioning for your visit. Hope to see you again at Carmel Cove!

My husband and I took a road trip this summer and our first stop was the Carmel Cove Inn at Deep Creek Lake. We loved it so much that we kept our extending our stay at the Inn out by a day so that our original 2 night stay turned into a 4 night stay. We've stayed at many B&Bs...
