The room was terrible! The bathroom was freezing and disgusting. There was no kind of breakfast. If we had realized the condition of the room, we would have never stayed. I recently had a knee replacement and we asked for a downstairs room. The clerk stated that there were none available and the heat was not on. If we had insisted on a downstairs, he said it would take 2 hours for the room to warm up. The water smelled of iron and did not feel good on your skin. I skipped washing my hair!!

This place was not the nicest place, but it worked for us on a rainy night. The room was relatively large and comfortable. The man who checked us in and got us ice could not have been nicer. If you need a place to stay in the Chincoteague area this will do.

It's better than camping. There wasn't a restaurant so breakfast was muffins, cereal and bananas so I drove to the McDonald's nearby. There was sand on bathroom floor from the start and never cleaned after housekeeping cleaned the room. You had to pull the door then push it to open after putting the key in. The good part was there's a pool, a microwave, cable tv and a fridge.

I read the bad reviews but since my company booked the room there I had to check in. After calling my company and refusing to stay there, I checked out. SEE MY PHOTOS That red splatter on the wall? Someone told me that's blood splatter from needle junkies. This is the filthiest most gross and smelly and disgusting place I've seen and Ive traveled for a living for 9 years. Dead bugs. Filth. Mold. Blood. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Stayed here (formaly Days Inn) because I waited too long to get reservations at the Holiday Inn Express. The telephone still had Days Inn information on it. The front office looked clean and neat, the front desk clerk was very pleasant and young man who delivered the towels to our room was plesant. That's about all the good things I can say. Oh, plenty of hot water, fairly new matress and the AC worked well. The room smelled musty, the water had an metallic odor, the ceiling over the shower had a hole in it and was stuffed with paper, the bathroom door was repaired with duct tape and then painted. Carpet was so very old and smelly. Housekeeping left us one coffee cup and instead of two packs of coffee, we got one unopened pack and one empty pack. Towels rough, thin, and small. Breakfast was is a very hot room, obviously no AC and was truly an old fashioned continental breakfast offering Fruit Loops, corn flakes, coffee, warm orange juice, warm apple juice, bread, English muffin, bagel or doughnut. We stayed here years ago when it was Days Inn and it was in need of a major renovation then. It is now in desperate need of a major overhaul and cleaning. I don't plan on staying there again but then "never say never"…

place is a cesspool. upon paying for a 2 night stay we went into our room and tried to figure out the next step of recovery. step 1 is admitting the place has a problem....... or all the problems. guy at the front desk would not refund the full amount because we were in the room for 20 minutes. he refunded all but $50. place is a total dump, i've sat in better and cleaner outhouses. every other terrible review you read has nailed it all. i for one am glad i did not actually sleep in that crack house of a hotel. BBB should shut it down.

Hotels along this stretch of Rte. 13 are overpriced and average at best. For the $$$ this is as good as any under double the price. Good staff and free breakfast. Nice pool and comfortable rooms for a night. This is a half-way stop for the OBX, North Carolina.

Don't take a chance on staying here, the rooms look like something that stepped out of the 50's, the carpets filthy, the spreads had cigarette holes in them, the shower was so rusty you could smell it and the sockets were coming out of the wall. Just to name a few. I only gave it a one star because our rooms were re-cleaned, the air was working and the pool was great. The pool is outside and the grounds were manicured nicely. Please don't be fooled by the appearance. Definitely was not worth the price.

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would! Horrible experience, everything was dirty, the room, the bed sheets, the Toilet, the shower everything! I doubt the have housekeeping I really doubt they change the sheets, they say they have continental breakfast mmm no, its just orange and apple juice with a couple of options bread or beagle that’s pretty much it( don’t expect wafles or anything that even the cheapest hotel could have, very over price for a filthy place, we pay 207$ for two nights and regret it forever! We are not coming back never again! Dirty Dirty and filthy!

You get what you pay for and this place should of been cheaper. I don’t think they actually clean the rooms. The toilet was dirty, the water turned our fingers Orange and had a funky smell, the paint was peeling, and the walls were yellow. If you looking for a place to crash and a quick shower then this place will get that done for you. I would not recommend for a multiple night stay.
