The hotel is in a lovely location, the waiting staff were amazing although the food was pretty mediocre. We were quite disappointed to find there was a door between our room and next door, I imagine for weddings and big parties that would be OK but for a couple, we felt like we had to whisper so not to wake...

This was a really nice hotel, and I must say the lady on check in is a remarkable person, sort of Middle Aged wearing glasses.. she was friendly, gave us a complimentary upgrade and was just all out friendly. The room was amazing and faultess with everything you need. I will highly recommend this hotel to people in the area.

Stayed here on a 2 night break and was very impressed. It is a small but very friendly establishment which provides excellent service. Even before we arrived the hotel phoned me to inform us that the restaurant would be closed that evening so that we could make other arrangements if necessary. Not many places would go to that trouble. The...

We booked this hotel as it is directly on the A35 and close to Christchurch so suited our needs On arrival we parked easily in the huge gravelled car park. We received a warm welcome as we approached the entrance by a member of staff who opened the doors for us. The receptionist welcomed us and the check in was...

We booked a weekend getaway to this lovely hotel as from the pictures it looked very nice and accommodating. The place does look lovely but the set up is somewhat odd as you have to go to the restaurant to check in/out to the hotel. We found the furniture with some dust and hair clips on the floor next to...

I got a Groupon voucher that made this place sound amazing, and we were supposed to be greeted with a glass of wine each and canapés... That didn't even happen. We weren't very impressed with our room either. The shower locked you in (you had to reach over the top and push the door to get out!) and the bed...

Lovely stay for the night in what seems a very new hotel? I got the impression it is still finding it's feet? Rooms well equipped, comfy... duvet was simply the BEST! Everything is new but I feel some fittings were cheaper and just hope it stays in a nice condition. The bar area was very relaxing and the breakfast wonderful......

Had the loveliest time here, food was amazing, facilities brilliant, and the staff, well they're the stars of the show, got to mention "M" the perfectionist maitre d', a lovely lovely chap, couldn't be more accommodating to my partner's vegan requirements, and a good communicator, we'll certainly be back for more of the same , thank you .x
