There are two locations for the Jolly Roger amusement park. One is basically across the street from the hotel. The other is at the far end of the boardwalk. There is also Trimpers Amusement Park, also on the Boardwalk to the right. JR is on the pier. I think the one across the street is the largest of the 3. The boardwalk itself is only a few blocks from the hotel but from there it's about a 2-mile walk to the end. There is a trolley that you can ride (for a fee) that can take you up and back. You can also take the bus (for a fee) down coastal highway. I'd suggest maybe walking there and taking a trolley back. My kids don't love walking, but once you hit the area with the shops they are entertained and forget about the walking part.

I don't have any pictures of a 9th floor room...we stayed on the first floor next to the pool. However I can say, our suite was very nice! What I loved the most was they don't have those nasty, loud patterned, 1980's polyester comforters. They use the 3 sheet system with a lightweight down type comforter. Plus the bedding is all white so you can see the cleanliness. Hope that helps. Also, the staff is very accommodating so if you call and request photos I'm sure someone can take some and email them to you. Doesn't hurt to ask.

I’m not sure either, I’m sure they’d help if you call, great staff and they have been responsive online as well. I lived in OC for about 5 years and most places seem to be weather driven. even boardwalk smaller shops play it by ear off season. For example if it’s 80 in October shops and pools typically open, more people go and boardwalk shops stay open its cold and less people places just close. Some places winterrise date certain but I would suspect it’s based on temperature. If you’re planning a fall trip which may be bordline when you call ask if it’s heated! The Holiday on 17th is and kids can enjoy on borderline days. I’ve never been to this Hilton offseason so I didn’t ask but it’s typcially colder near the shore so it’s worth checking if your going to enjoy the pool or kids want it.

Yes they do. There was a DVD player in each sitting room
