Hotel's Favourite
I reviewed Princess Bayside summer of 2019 and swore I would not return. Well, I did. 4 times now. Summer of 2020 I went back. Not sure if the hotel is under new management or if management took reviews seriously, but it has MUCH improved! Hotel is very clean. Easy check in. Beautiful view of the bay! Was just there last weekend and booked online. I accidentally booked a room that did not have the Bay View. Matt Jones, general manager, was wonderful! He moved us to a Bay View room for the same price (even though the error was my fault). Thanks Matt! Would definitely recommend Princess Bayside! It is a great hotel for the price!

I’ve stayed here all the time many years ago in my late 20’s didn’t realize I go back and see the same hotel as I stayed in at that time. Old carpet floor, plastic outdoor chairs, dirty ceiling tiles, hair in the tub. The toilet wouldn’t flush properly. Clean but stained towels. I never have wrote a review on a hotel but for the one night of money I spent for this hotel was very disappointing. Another disappointment is the next early morning other hotel residents were outside in the hallway with chairs hanging out being loud! Kids running down the hallway. It is a great location to get to the local bars around. However was very disappointed in the money that was spent and nothing was updated.

We always stay at the oceanfront when we visit Ocean City Maryland. This year we decided to try a hotel on the bat. The Princess Bayside was a great choice. They offered great views and had a beach area where you could swim from. This was great for my young child who isn't a fan of the waves from the ocean. Great friendly staff.

We stayed in a two bed/pull out sofa efficiency - Pros: Scenic view of the bay side Clean room Full fridge/sink/few dishes/microwave/dishwasher Parking Cons: Older hotel/room Walls so thin you could hear what was being said by the person on the tv next door Loudest AC ever - you may wake up when it kicks on Extremely humid, less-appealing indoor pool Next to Seacrets - attracting more younger patrons than the average hotel Overall adequate hotel for some type of travelers. Greeted by a courteous and friendly representative for check-in. Room was just the size we needed and clean but definitely an older room in an old hotel property. Checked top of mattress for any bug evidence and did not see any and mattress looked clean but the bed sheet wasn't the kind that wraps around mattress, which did not like. A slew of inebriated whippersnappers went in front of us to get to the outdoor pool while we were checking in with our luggage and baby. So for our one night here we did not bother to check the outdoor pool. Then after midnight somebody tried to enter our room and knock on the door before realizing they were at the wrong door.. Not seeming family-friendly, this is a place I would not return to again.
