My husband and I stayed at the Dunes Manor last year and loved it. Because hotels are so full this summer and prices are a lot higher this year than other years, we had limited choices for our weekend at the beach and took a chance on the Dunes Court, based on our positive experience at the Manor last year. We had an enjoyable weekend and here are the pros and cons of this property in this group. We were in room 216. Pros- Rooms have obviously been recently renovated. Bathroom flooring, refrig, microwave etc looked new. Looked and smelled nice and clean. The property was quiet, and we had no trouble with noise. The air-conditioning worked well and also looked new. The balcony is an open walk way with a little table and 2 chairs, but other guests walk through this area to get to their rooms, and faces the pool - away from the ocean. The property is half a block from the beach at the end of the boardwalk. Guests can use the facilities/restaurants at the Manor hotel and park in any of their 3 properties' parking lots. Cons- There is no elevator at the Court, so if your room is upstairs, you have to carry all of your luggage up the external stairs. If anyone cannot climb stairs, be aware of this. There is no coffee maker. We called and were told there's no coffee provided at the Court. If we had known, we would have brought our french press, as we are coffee people first thing in the am. I didn't see a hairdryer, so don't forget one. We knew that there was no ocean view at the Court from the rooms or balcony, but we did miss that. It was a bit awkward to sit on the pool-facing balcony and have other guests walking by. Lastly - the linens on the 2 double beds were clean and even appeared ironed, but did have a stain or two. I don't doubt they were clean, but had to mention. Generally, we would certainly book the Manor or Dunes Suites again in a minute, and would book the Court again if other options were not available. It served as a clean, basic beach room and the price reflects that.

Dear heatherharvila, Thank you so much for providing your review of the Dunes Court! You are correct, this year has seen unprecedented volume in Ocean City and availability has been limited. We're happy you chose to stay within the Dunes collection! We are in the process of adding complimentary coffee at the Dunes Court office, and we could have definitely provided a hair dryer as they are a standard amenity at the Court. Again, thank you for taking the time, and we look forward to seeing you again at the Manor, Suites or Court again soon!

For this price, it doesnt get better. While the pandemic made it less enjoyable, the amenities and room were fine. Few reasons why i wouldnt give five stars: we immediately noticed that the safe was broken, so we went to tell the front desk. They sent a maintenance worker to look at it, who came in and said it was broken and they dont have the materials to fix it today. He said he would be back the next day, but we never saw him again. Another issue was the coronavirus and the housekeeping. I understand that they cant come into the room, but we were told to leave our used towels outside the room and they would be replaced. This never happened, but when we called (on our cell phone because the room phone was disconnected) the housekeeper promptly brought them to the room. Toliet paper was also an issue... but other than that it was great. Very close to the beach.

The night time partying (as in all night) was so horrific. It included fireworks being set off in hotel corridors. I have tried to get money back from hotel for 2nd night but they haven't returned my calls.

Stayed here for a couple of days. Loved that it was close to beach didn't have to cross any roads. Rooms were nice and clean bathroom was small but functional and clean. Newly remodeled. Pool was nice and staff friendly. Tram picked you up right at boardwalk which was a 1 min walk. We would stay again, no view of beach but price reflects that.

My family and I stayed at the Dunes Court Motel which sits right behind the Suites and next to the actual Dunes Hotel. The proximity to the beach was ideal for families and the tram was right within walking distance, however the actual motel was DISGUSTING. It was a true motel and did not look like it had been refurbished just last year. I suffer from OCD and I relied on the management photos and from the word of a representative when I called and booked the room m. She told me that the whole motel had been redone. I don’t want to call anybody a liar but the bathroom and actual shower was gross and full of grim! The toilet seat had not been cleaned and the side was broken. I couldn’t even shower the whole time I was there due to seeing caked up grim and mildew in the shower. I had to clean my kids in a giant bucket because I would not allow them to stand in that awful shower. Even the pillow cases on the bed looked dirty. We had to buy sheets and pillow cases from the local Walmart just to sleep in peace. I feel like I was misled into paying almost 300.00 a night for a 50.00 motel. If the representative was honest with me and said “look the motel may not be right for you due to you telling me your condition”, I would have kindly said “thank you” and looked elsewhere. Very disappointed and will not be returning there EVER!
