We arrived around 2 and was greeted by the owner/chef. He said it was a slow weekend and upgraded us to a bigger room. The room was very nice but a bit small. We didn't mind since we were only staying one night. The area is so quaint and friendly. Shopping is very easy you don't have to drive anywhere....

This is my second stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Chesapeake City. The room Chesapeake Haven was warm and cozy with a separate bathroom. The tub oh I just couldn't wait to get in! An extra long and deep European soaker and awaiting bottle of bubbles. They really did think of everything. Such a wonderful place to relax...

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this museum piece hotel. As we were the only guests for the night, Bob the chef/owner called us earlier in the day to ask if we would mind letting ourselves in. We were utterly charmed! He left the key with detailed instructions of how to find our room, gave us a free room...

My boyfriend planned an overnight trip for us prior to New Year' Eve. I had no idea where it was we were going or staying and based on the hints he gave me, we were going to the beach. We were greeted by Bob the Innkeeper at the Inn at the Canal, and were given a quick tour of the...

Best place to stay in Chesapeake City and surrounding area. I travel to the area once a month and always stay at the Inn. Bob (the owner) runs a great B&B and goes out of his way to make your stay great. Convenient to Middletown and Wilmington. Perfect for a getaway or a nice place to on a business trip.

My husband and I stayed during the Winterfest celebration. The house is gorgeous and has a rich history. The room was comfortable and beautifully appointed. And breakfast, of course, was delicious! We will definitely be back!

The Inn is charming, but more accent is on appearance then comfort. Mu room would have been much more comfortable with a quiet heating unit and room darkening shades. The breakfast that was included was presented by a caring attendant, but could have had a few more choices for my taste, less carbs, more fruit. T Loved the town ,...

I attend the Fair Hill International horse trials every year, and have been staying at the Inn at the Canal since 2010. It's an easy drive from Fair Hill to Chesapeake City, and this inn is the perfect spot to relax after a long day outside. I have stayed in several different rooms over the years, and each is lovely...
