Stayed here for 10 days while on medical orders to Walter Reed. Super convenient location, took 5 minutes to get to hospital daily. 1 block from Metro station, with restaurant, bar, indoor pool and hot tub. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Parking was included in my room rate, as well as daily breakfast - and I'm thankful I did...

We were pleased this hotel is off the beaten path-The staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy walking distance to pretty much everything in Bethesda-close to the metro which was pretty empty when we rode it. We were impressed by an encounter with our housekeeper-we got back to our room and she wasn't finished yet-she politely asked us to step...

A very nice alternative to hotels in the center of DC. There is a metro station very close as well as a Starbucks. The room we stayed in had been updated. The bed was comfortable. Nice affordable buffet breakfast in the morning. The staff was also very pleasant. The downtown Bethesda shops and restaurants are only 10- 15 minutes walk...

Stopped with my family for a couple days to visit Washington DC and was pleased by the hotel. This is a typical chain hotel in a major city, with clean and spacious rooms, but no free parking. Hotel location is great, being very close to the subway and restaurants around

It is convenient to DC and Bethesda amenities. The hotel is a good stay with nice staff. The availability of coffee/cider/water in the lobby is a nice touch. The lobby area is comfortable for waiting.

I booked a Valentine's Day package with the Hilton garden Inn called the romance package. The package promised free breakfast and a bottle of champagne or cider in the room upon my arrival. When I arrived, the desk clerk did not know about the package let alone know that my reservation included these items. He tried to explain the cost...

We stayed at this hotel to attend a funeral for a family member in the area. It is a typical big city hotel - no free parking, no free happy hour and no free continental breakfast. Parking was $16 a night. There was complimentary internet. There are restaurants within walking distance. There is a Panera that is about 2 blocks...

I stayed here one night after returning my son to university. This is the first time I've stayed in Bethesda instead of DC. I don't know if I'd stay here again. But not because of the hotel, rather the neighborhood and area. Not bad but just not what I prefer. That having been said, the hotel itself is nice enough....

This is a very good hotel. The rooms are large and clean and is much better value than the nearby Marriot. The location is ideal for business in the heart of Bethesda. The staff are very helpful and 'go the extra mile'. My only criticisms are that the pool is very small, the gym is TINY and the bar closes...

Highly recommend this property. The location is very convenient to the Bethesda Metro and great dinning options. Hotel is safe, clean and quite with a friendly, helpful staff. There are other options to stay in this location but I prefer the HGI for the quality and price.
